After beating the boss for Ashes of the Burned (15G) in Liturgical Pass, you get the item the Lost Mark of Transcendence. Once you have this item you can transform by pressing 
+
together. When you do this you transform into a beast and you can move and attack faster. It drains your power as your transformed. You can transform back early by pressing + together again and save power. I completely forgot about this item. Use it when you can to help with bosses and sticky situations. The Stigma also opens the corrupt doors like the one you seen when you first got it.
