He asks you to help him find more knowledge so he requires a book/tome. You wont be able to fufill this quest until you get the Celestial Larva Double Jump. You can find the book he requires in the far north-west of Ordens Regnant Palace its the Tome Of Oisak. Return this to Aldrich ASAP and then return here and take the elevator to the left of where you found the Tome to the middle section and go east to the outside area and you will need to kill one enemy here for a magic spell. This enemy only appears after returning the Tome to Aldrich. Once you return the tome to him this will unlock.

The quest can be missed BEFORE the point of no return with the boss fight with Laddak. If you do not give Isaac's tome for a long time, the NPC may disappear from the hub approximately after killing the boss Lina (before the final zone). The corpse can be found under a tree in the place where the NPC should spawn as a unique boss.

The trophy is missable. You need to complete it before the boss Lord Laddak, who is in the pink location, the last one, the landmark Altar of the Verb Yunas. Open the doors to the boss, but do not go to him, if you kill then all the NPS will disappear from the hub and you will have to replay the game, like me.
