The attack itself does both physical and residual, but occasionally requires two uses to kill a zombie, even in district 1, so it might be worth attacking a single time before launching the frisbee

I found dodging through the AoE useful to keep zombies in the damage-dealing zone, but this was simply to speed up the unlocking process (as all 4 characters have one of these achievements) rather than a *need*; zombies respawn on transition to another area including dungeons
