How to unlock the Eightfold Obliteration achievement in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - Definitive Guide

XL Area S. Crafts are your friend here. Fie is an excellent choice, but Gaius can manage well enough too. Millium, if she's in your party at the time, works just as well as Fie, maybe even better.

You just need to gather 8 monsters together and defeat them all at once. This is easiest to do with the monster-filled treasure chests, which can spawn 8 monsters as early as Chapter 2. However, they aren't always close enough together at the start of the fight, so you may have to stall a few turns to lure the monsters together, or use skills that reposition enemies if you have any.

Just get 8 monsters into the circle for your S. Craft attack and hope it doesn't miss any of them.

You need to kill eight enemies with only one action (such as S-break or Craft Skill). A good place to try for this trophy is the "trap" treasure chest in Old Schoolhouse Floor 2 (Chapter 2). When you open the chest in this area, you will be attacked by eight enemies. You should move around until they are close to each other, then choose a character who has an S-break skill with a circle-range attack (such as Rean). Please make sure you save the game before attempting this, so you can reload and try again if you fail.

There are a few "trap" treasure chests having 8 enemies in later chapters, so you still have a chance to unlock this trophy. Please see the Overall Walkthrough, it shows you which "trap" treasure chest has 8 enemies, and also lets you know which type of enemies tend to fight in a group of 8.
