How to unlock the The Fire Ferrets Strike Again! achievement in The Legend of Korra - Definitive Guide

Luckily Mako and Bolin aren't terrible, so this won't be that bad. Wait to do this until after you've leveled up your elements in the story mode to max, as your teammates will be stronger.

In order to win Pro Bending, you must either knock the opponents all off the arena, or own the most of the arena by the time the round is over. If you knock everybody off, that's an automatic win. If the round is over, the team with most of the arena gains a point, and it takes 3 points to win.

Obviously, you'll be wanting to knock the opponents off. There's not much to do other than dodge, counter, and just mash X with the occasional Y press, and hope that Mako and Bolin target the same guy you do. The way I played every match, was I focused on one guy until I had knocked him off, and then switched to another.

If your team starts getting pushed back, start going after anybody in the zone directly in front of you, that way you can knock them back a zone and regain your ground.

Struggling so much to push them back more than one zone on the final battle. Every time i return an attack back at them it comes straight back at me. I have never had a attack ive returned hit them it doesn't help that my team mates get knocked back a zone in like 3 seconds grrrrrrrrrr.

If you didn't know, you can volley attacks back and forth as many times as you can. Don't press cn_Y a lot, since that takes way too much time to charge up. Other than that, just get closer to your target (so your attack isn't in the air for long), and mash cn_X.

Thanks for this solution. Focusing one guy at a time did it for me.

Do you have to finish the match in one go or can you come back later to the last round you were on?

I'm on Ace difficulty right now, and managed to do Match 1-4 within 15 minutes, but now I'm stuck on the last (5th) match for over 2 hours already! What the actual fuck!

After playing for about 1.5 hours again, I finally managed to get this by winning 2 1 v 1's. During those 1 v 1's, you want to spam X so you don't give the enemy a chance to hit you. Don't even think about winning by knocking them all off, it's not going to happen! Hardest achievement in the game.

All i can say its about 4 hours just attempting the 4th round and it is fucking annoying i get them to the final side and suddenly im there in like 10 secs. and any time i go into a face off i will have them at 1% and out know where i get knocked off at full helth even when i have full health this achievement is proven to be more annoying than attempting the flawless raider achievement in destiny at least there its multiplayer and i can have fun while doing it

That was a nightmare... I had fun with the game until this...
#1 : it's also very much luck based, on how the ennemies will parry and how your buddies handle themselves
#2 : if you're knocked out, game over. How come it's not the same with the "leader" of the other team ?
#3 : screen is pretty much unreadable with all the powers flying around.

1. You can sway it a tiny bit by leveling up your powers in the main game, IIRC. Doesn't change that much (at least on the harder difficulties), but it is something I guess.

2. Probably because Platinum knew the bots suck and wouldn't want you to rely on them only to have them fail over, and over, and over.

3. I can't exactly remember, but weren't there lines that went from each character to who they were currently targeting? Something else to just keep track of, but it would help knowing who to watch.

Worst achievement in my worst game of 2017. Hope this is getting delisted in a few days. These devs should be banned from Xbox.

lmao @ Rossco, yeah this was easily the hardest one. The entire tournament is easy, its just the last fight that took me an hour+ to beat. I got completely lucky and ended up winning two faceoffs to secure the achievement. Super frustrating to say the least.

After hours of trying, I tried a new tactic, got it first try. Just jumping left/right and pressing X once in midair. I rarely got hit and enemies missed me on their counters. Finally getting this achievement, is truly, A Christmas Miracle! Happy Holidays folks! F$¥@ this game...

If you counter the computers attack, then they counter it back to you, then you counter it back a second time... and it hits them.... It'll knock the back one zone straight away. All you need to do is counter.

I used a combination of Nemesis Crime and An Alphy to get through it. The first 4 matches were fine but the last one was not fun.

For the most part, I jumped around and avoided getting hit as best I could, only hitting a single X. That worked pretty well, but I could never push the opponent back. From there it was simply a matter of winning the Face Off with the tips above.

Thanks for all the tips, this wasn't a fun one.

Best bet is to start this after reaching max level in all elements
Jump and Counter a lot what the others sayd stay BEHIND your teammates and fight the most far away enemy. This is nearly pure luck.

Is there only the three levels? I just completed Ace and no achievement. I was able to go in and get my last talisman to pop that achievement. Do you think it will just be a late pop?

There is litteraly no way to beat this! Do you guys fire all the attacks back at them or just dodge them? My team gets pushed back 10 seconds into the round every single time! The earth guy has way too much health and they all block/cover like little cowards when they are about to die...

i got this first try upon trying Ace, so ill throw in my hat for some tips.
- counter is your best friend. when you counter, the enemies will almost always send it back once or twice, and itll be flashing red, so make a note of what you just countered! if you countered, say, a fireball, make it a priority to look out for that
- personally i found the enemy water bender to be the biggest threat, as the match starts with them in front of you, the attacks move fairly fast and they always seemed to focus on you no matter your/their position. plus it’s kinda hard to see the water especially when things get chaotic. the fire bender can be dangerous as the fireballs can easily combo/stunlock you, but the fire is easily seen so youll know when it’s coming. lastly the earth bender didnt pose too much a threat, their attacks are fairly slow and easy to see
- try not to stand too close/behind your teammates, it makes it very hard to to tell what attacks are coming for you or them. i liked to stay off to the sides as theres less of a chance of being bombarded by all 3 elements
- if you push back the enemies to the point where theres only 1 in front of you, AND mako/bolin are still up, try to do some damage on the enemies further back. as soon as you notice your teammates got knocked back and youre the only one in your zone, focus immediately on the enemy in front so you can advance to the next zone
- if things come to a face off, slow down and let the enemy attack first. counter it, and just follow his lead. if he counters, he will be in a "blocking pose" for about a second, thats your cue to counter. if hes dodge happy, shoot a few water blasts at him until he attacks, so you can counter and so on

i know im wayyy late to the party but hey maybe someones out there playing this game years later 😂

Pro-bending is reached by going back to the title screen and then going to the second option. You will need to complete the story in order to unlock pro-bending menu. Once inside the menu you will need to work your way through rookie, captain, and ace difficulties in order to unlock the achievement. Each difficulty has five matches to play.

You must either win by points (rounds/players left), or by knocking out all of your opponents in a round. The best course of action when dealing with this game is to target on opponent at a time and work them all the way off of the bending platform. By doing this you not only ease the rest of the battle, but you help yourself focus on supplying a large number of attacks and limit what you receive. I also found putting yourself to the opposite side of the map from your target as well as your teammates and opponents works to help you properly protect yourself from any attacks and gives you enough time to counter successfully.

The final big tip I have is to make sure your earth bending and fire bending are maxed so that your teammates have the best abilities and power possible as it does contribute to their efficiency.

The Pro-Bending League is unlocked by completing the Story Mode once on Normal Difficulty. There are a total of three difficulties that you'll need to playthrough which are: Rookie, Captain and Ace. These don't stack so you'll have to work your way from lowest difficulty to the highest difficulty of Pro-Bending. Each match will consist of 5 total matches thus meaning you'll have to play 15 complete matches in full. Once you start any match during this Step, you cannot for quit the game all 5 matches need to be completed in one sitting for each separate difficulty.

It'll get harder along the way and there is a little bit of luck factor into it but if you have all your bending styles maxed out after completing the story mode on Extreme difficulty. You should have strong teammates helping since their attack power is determined from Korra's bending levels in the Story Mode. Below is an image of the all the rules you'll need to know about Pro-Bending League and how to win:

Below is a list of general tips:

  1. Try to knock-out your opponents whenever possible. To ensure this happens; attempt to knock all three opponents back in the opening starting position then focus on one opponent and continue to knock them back until they fall of the platform. Rinse and repeat this throughout other matches.
  2. Don't forget to counter with as needed, it'll help knockback opponents even if you're not locked onto them.
  3. To live longer in prolonged matches, try dodging with and jumping out of the way with . This is also good for stalling the timer especially if you know you're going to win the round match. Do this technique when you have all your full team while your opponents only have about 2 members left and you're unable to knock them backwards/out.
  4. Don't get too cocky when you won two matches. As you know, by winning two matches you're the winner of the matches no matter what but the third match still needs to be played and finished. Don't forget that if the opponents knock Korra off the platform then you'll automatically lose the entire match and will have to restart it all over again.

  4. If you stand to the side, right or left. It's a lot easier to survive. You get targeted far less often, and can often times knockback Fire/Earth while they're busy attacking your team and they have their sides completely toward you. Water can still be a bit of a pain, but it makes things so much easier.

Not the easiest achievement, but it’s not difficult to knock it out . Dodge and counterattack with someone else’s magic as often as possible. One hit with counterattack magic and the enemy loses all lives, and actually flies back to the zone . Attack using a button -removes half of your health bar, so it’s best to combine buttons And , however, be prepared for the fact that using the same method, the enemy can remove all your lives, gradually throwing you back into the zone until he finally throws you out. The difficulty of this achievement lies in the last stage, that is, the final , where the opponents are simply beasts in terms of the game , parry their own counterattack magic 5 times in a row, dodge everything and quickly deal with Mako and Bolin , in general they are far from weak.

I will add that the abilities of Mako and Bolin depend on the level of upgrade of fire and earth in a single game. That is, the higher Korra's level, the harder they fight.

The last team is difficult to defeat by knockout, but it’s easier to hold out and win the captain’s battles 2 times, then you will win.

Try to attack those who throw magic not at you, because the chances that your attack will be blocked are minimal. This can be determined by the stripes)
