How to unlock the The Fire Ferrets Strike Again! achievement in The Legend of Korra - Definitive Guide
In order to win Pro Bending, you must either knock the opponents all off the arena, or own the most of the arena by the time the round is over. If you knock everybody off, that's an automatic win. If the round is over, the team with most of the arena gains a point, and it takes 3 points to win.
Obviously, you'll be wanting to knock the opponents off. There's not much to do other than dodge, counter, and just mash X with the occasional Y press, and hope that Mako and Bolin target the same guy you do. The way I played every match, was I focused on one guy until I had knocked him off, and then switched to another.
If your team starts getting pushed back, start going after anybody in the zone directly in front of you, that way you can knock them back a zone and regain your ground.
Pro-bending is reached by going back to the title screen and then going to the second option. You will need to complete the story in order to unlock pro-bending menu. Once inside the menu you will need to work your way through rookie, captain, and ace difficulties in order to unlock the achievement. Each difficulty has five matches to play.
You must either win by points (rounds/players left), or by knocking out all of your opponents in a round. The best course of action when dealing with this game is to target on opponent at a time and work them all the way off of the bending platform. By doing this you not only ease the rest of the battle, but you help yourself focus on supplying a large number of attacks and limit what you receive. I also found putting yourself to the opposite side of the map from your target as well as your teammates and opponents works to help you properly protect yourself from any attacks and gives you enough time to counter successfully.
The final big tip I have is to make sure your earth bending and fire bending are maxed so that your teammates have the best abilities and power possible as it does contribute to their efficiency.
The Pro-Bending League is unlocked by completing the Story Mode once on Normal Difficulty. There are a total of three difficulties that you'll need to playthrough which are: Rookie, Captain and Ace. These don't stack so you'll have to work your way from lowest difficulty to the highest difficulty of Pro-Bending. Each match will consist of 5 total matches thus meaning you'll have to play 15 complete matches in full. Once you start any match during this Step, you cannot for quit the game all 5 matches need to be completed in one sitting for each separate difficulty.
It'll get harder along the way and there is a little bit of luck factor into it but if you have all your bending styles maxed out after completing the story mode on Extreme difficulty. You should have strong teammates helping since their attack power is determined from Korra's bending levels in the Story Mode. Below is an image of the all the rules you'll need to know about Pro-Bending League and how to win:
Below is a list of general tips:
- Try to knock-out your opponents whenever possible. To ensure this happens; attempt to knock all three opponents back in the opening starting position then focus on one opponent and continue to knock them back until they fall of the platform. Rinse and repeat this throughout other matches.
- Don't forget to counter with as needed, it'll help knockback opponents even if you're not locked onto them.
- To live longer in prolonged matches, try dodging with and jumping out of the way with . This is also good for stalling the timer especially if you know you're going to win the round match. Do this technique when you have all your full team while your opponents only have about 2 members left and you're unable to knock them backwards/out.
- Don't get too cocky when you won two matches. As you know, by winning two matches you're the winner of the matches no matter what but the third match still needs to be played and finished. Don't forget that if the opponents knock Korra off the platform then you'll automatically lose the entire match and will have to restart it all over again.

- If you stand to the side, right or left. It's a lot easier to survive. You get targeted far less often, and can often times knockback Fire/Earth while they're busy attacking your team and they have their sides completely toward you. Water can still be a bit of a pain, but it makes things so much easier.
