How to unlock the Death Battle achievement in The Legend of Tianding - Definitive Guide

Ok.
Boss have 3 phases.
On every phase I kind of did the same.
Hit him 2 times with X, then used RB button to roll onto his other side.
Hit him 2 times with X button before I rolled past him with RB button again.
Did this back and forth.
Eventually you evade enough attacks for your shadow to appear in battle.
What trinkets I had equipped was :
1.Miser - "you wont lose any coins when you're defeated"
(Took me a couple of tries before I nailed this one, did not want to lose all money as I need to upgrade knife)
2. Harden - Reduce damage dealt by obstacles and traps.
3.Shadow strenght - Shadow techniques deal more damage.
Last one is a must on this boss.
I would advice having the 3rd equipped, but feel free to do as you like with the others.
