How to unlock the Dispel Rumors achievement in The Legend of Tianding - Definitive Guide

This can easily be missed. At a certain point in the story, Ching Feng will travel around the Eirkaku Cho, Hokumon Cho, and Taihoku Station areas, spreading rumors that you betrayed the people. If you attempt to approach him, he will run away.

In order to catch him, you need to help the beggars on the rooftops. Once you have donated money to a certain number of these beggars, they will block Ching Feng's escape when you approach.

The certain point is after the 5th boss ding Feng. I'm not sure how you leave this bit of info out of your guide

I mean, another question about this. How much money do we need to donate? I've been donating almost everything I have after every dungeon, and they're still taking more and giving me more items, it's costing me 25 yen per donation now and has been for a bit. Do I have to keep donating money to them until they stop requiring it, is there a point like that?

Yeah, you donate until you get all the items they give you. After that they will start saying thank you.

Not missable.
Even if you triggered Ching Feng twice and you can't find him anymore, you can just donate to enough beggars and he will reappear.
