You get this achievement when you reach Syspocalypstar and do the tutorial missions. To even get there, you have to beat the first level of the game (Apocalypseburg level) and collect 12 purple bricks to unlock the gate to access other locations (which means you'll have to do some extra exploring and/or doing some extra side missions).
Once you get to Syspocalypstar, just follow the markers and do what you're told to do (help a guy build his store.... and you're almost there).

This is story related and cannot be missed. When you first arrive on Syspocalypstar, after building Tempo's shop, he awards you with your first relic, a Mega-Relic. Walk up to the shop and press 
to talk to the assistant. Press to select the Mega-Relic then again to open it.
