Characters can be collected when opening Relics in shop, or you can also buy them in shops. So keep collecting and opening relics until you get the trophy.

Some characters are automatically obtained through the story, while others are unlocked by completing quests and opening purple Character Relics and gold Mega-Relics. While some are available as soon as you obtain them, others may to be purchased at any shop. There are well more than 100 characters in the game, so when you've collected 100 of them, this achievement will unlock.
