Near the end of the Sorting Area level, you’ll fight your third boss. For this one you’ll need to activate some switch to make the boss suck some toxic goo, then you’ll have some platforms to climb until you’re able to break the pink stuff. Repeat that a second time but then you’ll have to make your way around the area until you reach the pink goo. Climb the platforms and destroy the pink stuff to kill the boss.

This is story related and cannot be missed. This unlocks near the end of Chapter 5, 'Sorting Area'. The boss is a giant octopus-looking Duplo.
To defeat this boss, you first have to rotate the giant sorting bins to make the boss vacuum up the toxic green pieces. Once that is done, use the prompts to climb onto its head and you will see three "cups". A pink enemy will appear when one is randomly lifted, so whack it a few times. Repeat this three more times and you will be thrown back to sort again.
The pink bin will be focused on letting you know that it's the next bin. Walking to the right, rotate the green and blue bins so the blue bin is on the right. Then hop across the green bin (which is now on the left) and rotate the green and yellow bins so the yellow one is on the right. Again hop across the green bin and do the same for the green and orange bins so the orange one is on the right. The boss will become frustrated and start spraying black goo around, so hide behind the barrier of the last rotating button.
Using the barriers to the right, run along and use them as protection. You will need to rotate bins around so there’s a barrier to hide behind. Once you reach the pink bin, the boss will start vacuuming it up, at which point, use the prompts to cross its leg until you reach the center. There will be a 'whack-a-mole' mini game once again, so smash four pink enemies until a cutscene plays and you will receive a master piece and the achievement.
