The LEGO Movie Videogame

At the beginning of level 11, "Put the Thing on the Thing", you will be in a room where you need to collect construction plans and build a loudspeaker. After you have done so, you will have the opportunity to do the Kragelizer dance mini game. There are 21 moves in this dance game, so you not only need to hit 100% of the moves, but you need to get an Awesome (versus a Good or Cool) on each move as well.

Your natural instinct will be to tap the correct button as the letter is approaching the circle so that it hits right on target (like in Guitar Hero) but this isn't the way to get Awesomes. Instead what you want to do is make sure the letter hits the circle first and you will see it pause for just a quick millisecond, which is when you want to hit the button. You will get the feel for it really quickly.

The great thing about this achievement is that you can try again as many times as you like but you MUST complete the dance the first time to have the option to try again (thanks to Scuderia NL for the clarification). On your subsequent tries, if you mess up you can just back out (I think with the B button) and try again. Just go back to the dance platform and hit the prompt to start the dance. I highly recommend you keep trying this when you first get to level 11 until the achievement pops, as that's the most time-saving way to earn the achievement.

If you miss your opportunity during the story you can also do this in freeplay, which is located in the octan tower. up the stairs, to the left.

Edit: According to RyU913, he had the game freeze up on him while trying to back out in the middle of the dance. I didn't have this happen to me but if you experience this, then I suggest finishing the song each time (just let it sit and complete) before trying again.

Edit 2: According to pesano, he was able to overcome the freezing by loading up a different game and then going back into The LEGO Movie Videogame. You may want to see if this fix works for you as well.

This can be attained near the beginning of the eleventh level: "Put the Thing on the Thing".

You have to get every move to be 'awesome' as there are only 21 moves in this mini-game.

You must wait a moment when the button reaches the circle before you hit the prompt otherwise it will be a 'good' rating.

This mini-game can be replayed as many times as required; just return to the dance platform and press (B).
