1: Head outside and to the letterbox and collect the mail. You will get a small crystal.
2: Once back inside, grab the silver/grey jug to the right of the fireplace. Then leave the house via the door to the right of the screen.
3: Walk right to the red pump. Use Empty Jug with Pump, then press
which breaks the handle off.4: Use the broken handle on the Shed Door and enter the shed.
5: Pick up the Pitchfork and head back outside.
6: Use the Pitchfork with the Stump, then use it with the Pump to get Water.
7: Return to your Father's bedroom and make sure to close the blind, for which their is a related achievement, and press
with the Generator console in his bedroom.8: Put the Crystal in the slot, then Water in the Funnel. To the right are 2 dials. Turn the Ohm (top dial) to 4, and then the other dial to 3.
9: The ultra violet lights will turn on. Press
to back out momentarily, and you will see a pattern of circles you can interact with. You will now need to use this pattern with the 4x4 grid of buttons on the right of the console.Now the generator is working and you should have your achievement.

Unlocks when Aiden starts the generator by using the device in Arthur's room.

This achievement unlocks upon powering up the generator via the panel in Arthur's bedroom. To do so, grab the empty water container on the table in the kitchen area. Go out the front of the house to the mailbox and open the package to get the crystal. Go back in the house and grab the stool by the back door. Go out the back door to the water pump, place the empty container there, then break off the pump handle. Use the pump handle to open the shed door. Grab the spear on the floor. Go back to the water pump and use the spear on the wood block. Use the makeshift hammer on the water pump to fill the container. Go back in the house and into Arthur's bedroom by the ladder. Place the water in the funnel and the crystal in the slot. Turn the weight dial to 3 and the conductivity dial to 4. Input the following sequence into the 4x4 grid (make sure you've unlocked the "Phone home" achievement first!): (1,3) (2,2) (2,3) (2,4) (3,1)
