How to unlock the Resolute Outfitter achievement in The Long Dark - Definitive Guide
This is available on either story mode or survival mode. I found 2 Ear Wraps in story mode, but your mileage may vary.
The trick to this is the elusive Wool Ear Wraps, currently the only Accessory in the game. You'll need 2 of those to get this, until/unless a second Accessory is added. If you find one, make sure to keep it and repaired.
Once you have enough pieces to fill all your slots, look at the items in your inventory, press to pull up Actions, then Repair every item until it's at 100%. You'll need a bunch of Cloth and Sewing Kits to finish.

I found one set of ear wraps on level 2 of The Carter Dam after I turned off the power and I could go back up to search a backpack that is previously blocked by toasty livewires.

I must have been lucky. I found one ear wrap with the first survivor cache in Episode One (the one in the cave by the radio tower right by Milton). I found my second set of ear wraps in Carter Dam at the end of Episode 2. It was in a backpack protected by live wires during the escape sequence. After I turned off the power breaker to progess through the level I went back an opened the backpack. I was THRILLED to get those ear wraps! Obviously loot is random, but the lesson is to search everything!

To get this trophy, you have to fill all the slots - including the Accessory ones. Accessories are hard to find but you can find ear warps and either find or make a Moose-hide Satchel. When all slots are filled, you have to mend all our clothes (and accessories) to make them have 100% condition. Once all have done all of this, the trophy will pop.
To mend clothes, select them then go: => Action => Repair. Note: You need a sewing kit, before anything can be repaired.

I did this. First, I found clothes for all the cells (it’s convenient to look in city houses or just in places where there are wardrobes for clothes), and then I picked fabrics from other clothes and just sat and repaired everything. To do this, you need a sewing kit and the fabric itself, which can be obtained from excess clothes

Sometimes you come across things that are 100% quality. You don’t have to put them aside for future use, things after you “touch” them begin to deteriorate, even when they are in the drawer. Therefore, when all the slots are filled, including the slot for the bag, then everything needs to be repaired.
