How to unlock the Murderer achievement in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum - Definitive Guide

To unlock this achievement you have to kill 10 orcs.

This is done during stealth sections when throttling orcs without helmets. The tutorial in level 1 shows you how to do this (and I believe counts towards the achievement.
You wont need to kill orcs in every section and there is only about 2 or 3 required kills to progress but there are many opportunities in stealth sections to kill orcs easily achieving this achievement in 1 playthrough

This achievement is cumulative. It requires you to kill 10 Orcs by throttling them (stealth kill from behind). While there are only a few required kills in a playthrough, a few chapters have a bunch handed to you, such as three or four in Chapter 5, and more in Chapter 9.

Note that you can grind this out by reloading a checkpoint, if you want. There are a few good spots for this in Chapter 5, if you want to just grind it out while you're there.

In Chapter 5, you will be given a choice to kill an orc (Gollum) or to chicken out (Smeagol), follow Smeagol's path, and after killing the guard, you will be given a trophy.

I did it in the second chapter, after we just swam along the blood river, there is a checkpoint right next to the Orc, who can be strangled, jump off the wall and strangle, load the check 9 times. But it seems like you can do it in the first chapter, where according to the plot you strangle one, distract the second with a lantern.
