How to unlock the Magnum Opus achievement in The Magic Circle: Gold Edition - Definitive Guide
Hello all !
For this achievement you'll need to get a 10/10 rating on the last part of the game.
It's not really hard when you know how it works.
First, you'll need to create your dungeon.Place 10 rooms,no matter what will be the rooms you choose,it won't change your final rating.
Then, the big part. You'll need to place stuff in your own dungeon (enemies, healing potions,story,music,etc...).Here's some good tricks to know:
- Don't place the same thing in a row.The player gets bored pretty quickly if he does the same actions too often.
- Place 1 or 2 enemies in each room. Some rooms may have nobody,it's not too important.
- Place a healing potions after 1 or 2 combats.Only potions who cures the Player will be benefical.
- Place a treasure chest after a battle or in a corner away from the main road. The Player want a chest who is not easy to get or find.
- Place music, story and allies between some battles to break the repetition.
- If possible, place a powerful enemy (like a flamethrower) close to an ally to kill him. It's pretty useful to keep the Player interest :)
- Never let your boredom gauge falling to half (and your health to zero of course ! ^^)
And here's my video to show you my successful run (not perfect but can be useful):
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments !
Have fun and good luck all
