Probably the best weapon in the game as it has some basic tracking, can hit multiple enemies simultaneously, and can shoot through walls. This is underwater so it requires Scroll of Anuket.

Hmm... This achievement got glitched for me. I found the Plasma Beam, but did not get the achievement. Only after finishing the game, I noticed that I'm missing this achievement.

EDIT: Got it by deleting my local savefile and loading the savefile from the cloud which was around 2 hours old and I was missing the Plasma Beam on that savefile.

In the first section of the game (purple), go to the large room with the water in the bottom portion of it (right under the second save spot room). Drop into the water and to the lower right area to head through to the next room there. Make your way down and then to the left until you reach the room with the Plasma Beam. Pick it up and the trophy will pop as well.
