Your solution is the best, thank you! Just some comments:
- it's engineer, not "machinist" (no problem English is my second language as well)
- you should set your partner on fire in bursts, waiting for the fire to vanish (or close to that) before setting him on fire again. If you are too fast you can kill him.

Everyone's solutions are all solid ways, but here's one more method I've seen used if you're interested.
1.) Play on 2Fort with a friend being on the enemy team; have him/her be a Heavy.
2.) Meet each other underneath the bridge in the middle, under the water.
3.) As Pyro, go right inside one of the sewer entrance and face the water.
4.) Have your friend ready themselves by standing right in front of you, just out of the water.
5.) Ignite your friend with a small burst.
6.) Have your friend back into the water to extinguish their flaming body, then step towards you again.
7.) Repeat.
Just remember to use small bursts so as to not burn them too much (and cause them to die).
If you're not into boosting for the achievement, following any of the suggested methods for normal matches will net you solid results more often than not. Just set aside some time and patience if you choose to go that route.

This may seem difficult at first but its one of the easiest in the game. Dustbowl stage 2, capture point 1 is an ideal location for this. Play pyro on defense and when the gates drop just rush in the trench flaming everything in your path.

Not if you're good at the game. I have played on alt accounts and gotten this achievement on DB stage 2 in less than 10 minutes of playing. Its Easy in a 8vs8.

Pretty much luck-based. The best place to get this may be while standing outside Attackers' starting gates at the beginning of the round.

To give yourself the best chance of getting this, play on a map where individual capture points are contested at a single time, and play a game that is at or near the maximum number of players (preferably 14).
Do not worry about kills -- just run around torching people, and when you see one player catch fire, move to the next one, and so on.
Note: You can get this even if you die during the 30 seconds. I torched two players, died, then got another three, and the achievement popped.

This is basically luck. Just play as a pyro and run around the map just trying to flame everyone you see. You can still get it even if you die in between the 30 seconds cause thats what happened to me.

30 seconds can be a long time when you consider, you don't have to kill the players you set on fire. Aim for larger groups and attempt to use flanking tactics or kamikaze head-on. The latter may work rather effectively if your ping is high, as this allows you not to get hit so easily, but then again it's more of luck trying to hit enemies.

playing a "attack/defense" map...
you are a pyro defending and when all the other team is on the last point to capture , you enter kamikaze and you can burn them ...

Easily done in player matches with some friends who are willing to help.
