How to unlock the Friendly Fire achievement in The Orange Box - Definitive Guide

Do this in chamber 16. You will come to a halway with two turrets facing one another. Get by them and the next room should contain two turrets right next to each other. Go in, throw it at the other and it should unlock once the other falls down.

The first level in Portal where this is possible is Testchamber 16. I've given you a video for each of the methods below.

Method 1 - Pick up a turret after you have positioned so that when you place the turret through the portal, it will fall on another.

Method 2 - Pick up a turret and move towards another and let go of it so that it knocks over a second turret.

This is best done on the level thats choc full of turrets. Just place a portal above one turret and and send another turret through another portal.

Very easy to do. On the stage where there are many turrets, simply make a portal right above one turret, and then shoot another portal underneath the other turret and you will get it when it tips over.
