How to unlock the Submissive achievement in The Orange Box - Definitive Guide

Early in the main storyline, a Combine Soldier will knock a can onto the ground, and tell you to put it into a garbage can. Submit to his will by placing the can into the garbage to unlock this achievement.

If you save right when the cop asks you to throw away the can, you can throw away the can, load the save file and then throw the can at the cop and get both achievements before you go further into the game.

Please note that this achievment is in Half Life 2 game.

I couldn't find this one on any of the in game achievement lists but glad it wasn't bugged

When the combine police officer makes you throw the can into the bin, dispose of the can.

Also if one saves before doing this then you can also get the defiant achievement by doing the opposite.

when in the beggining finding the guard approach him and when he throws down a can pick it up and drop it back into the trash can beside him.

At the beginning of the game after talking to barney you will meet a combine soldier blocking your way and wanting you to pick a can that he knocked on the floor. Just pick it up and drop it into the trash.
