The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition

The achievement is unlocked when you enlist your 6th companion. It is missable. If you reject any companion, you will be unable to recruit the six required for the achievement. Additionally, it is possible to reach the point of no return without encountering and/or speaking to all six companions.

Nevertheless, the achievement is not difficult. All companions are readily accessible. Provided you always agree to have them accompany you when offered the opportunity, you should unlock the achievement well before the mid-point of the game. The six companions required for the achievement are (in the order you will probably—but not necessarily—encounter them):

• Parvati: In Emerald Vale, during the main quest, Stranger in a Strange Land. During the first dialog with Reed Tobson, when Parvati’s services are offered accept them. Additionally, when you depart on your ship, invite her to join you on the ship.
• Vicar Max : In Emerald Vale, during Stranger in a Strange Land, you will find Vicar Max in the chapel. He gives you the companion quest, The Illustrated Manual. When you find the requested book and he finds it’s in French, he requests to join your crew so he might locate a translator. Accept. At that point, you have officially recruited him but you won’t be able to use Vicar Max in your party until after you leave Emerald Vale for the first time.
• SAM: Find SAM on your ship. Read the messages on the terminal in your stateroom and speak to ADA to initiate the companion quest, The Cleaning Machine. When you complete it, accept SAM as a companion.
• Felix: On Groundbreaker near your ship when you first land. Exhaust the conversational choices with Felix after you observe him in a verbal altercation with a guard. After a short time elapses, return to Felix and speak to him again. He’ll ask to join your crew. Accept.
• Ellie: On Groundbreaker, you find Ellie in the medical bay. She gives you the companion quest Worst Contact. Complete it and accept her as a companion.
• Nyoka: You find Nyoka in the Yacht Club Bar on Monarch. Talk to her and accept the Passion Pills quest. Upon completion, accept her as a companion.
