This achievement is rather easy.
This can be done in Ranked Custom Matches even though the description says "Ranked Quick Match games".
All you have to do is find a partner and get into a game with just the two of you. whoever the host is should set it to a strategic victory on Estate Assault. Once in the game whoever is getting the achievement will go to the pause menu and "retire your squad"(commit suicide) and keep doing that as fast as you want as long as each time is under 30 seconds while your partner destroys your HQ buildings to speed up the game.
The achievement should pop after the game ends.

This didn't pop after my first game. Like some of the other "career" achievements does this one require at least 20 games played as well?

I'm not quite sure it's 20 games but yes, after so many games it will unlock so long as your average lifetime is under 30 seconds

This achievement is easy as long as you go for it as the first online achievement it will pop very quickly. Remember the more you fail in attempting to get it the harder the achievement could become.
As Titaniums QB's solution this and all online achievements can be done in ranked custom matches and the host should use Estate assault with the lowest available command points.
The person going for the achievement should kill by suicide his squad immediately on spawn with the retirement option in the pause page (pause-> retire squad (Back button and then X)) repeatedly after re-spawning until the other side is ready to storm the base. Quickest way to victory is dive for the flag in a vehicle whilst this achievement hunter is in suicide as the flag will neutralize and give instant victory.
In short 3-4 suicides per match, other side dives for victory flag neutralization in opposing forces base whilst opposition is in suicide state.
The one committing suicide will pop the achievement after a several rounds if it is the first time online.

If I am correct, you need to actually lose the match to the other player. Just killing yourself by retiring and losing the match didn't appear to pop the achievement for me or my friend last night. We ended up getting it to unlock by taking over the other teams flag. Note: You DO NOT need to do it your first few games. If you go for the vehicle kills, using that method the person being killed each go will have a lifetime of less than 30 seconds.

As stated you will need to retire multiple times so your death count is high and sets a low average life span to total game time which still tot's up in retirement but you should not re-spawn whilst the flag is being neutralized as this will result in forces being attacked and the flag may not neutralize in time. retiring once for a 2 minute game is simply not going to work.
This achievement took me about ten rounds at under 2 minutes a round.
In respect of doing this first if a person does vehicle kills etc first they will potentially have a very long life in a single match to counter balance and may logically cause problems so safer to get this and other ratio based achievements first then go for the bigger counters. If two boosting partners both need this it LOGICALLY should be done first then the other ratio and percentage based achievements before the large counters.
Failing this getting the 1000 deaths achievement with the river method should logically counter any excess lifetime. I prefer to be safe and not risk an unobtainable.

Start a match and hit back, select retire squad and repeat. Keep doing this until you run out of command points. This will dramatically decrease your lifetime, so it shouldn’t take too long to get your average below thirty seconds.
