How to unlock the The Mist achievement in The Park - Definitive Guide

You actually get this at the beginning of the game. When you start the game, leave the parking lot and walk up the street. After you walk up a little you will be surrounded by mist but just keep walking and it will turn you around and give you this achievement.

It is possible to miss this achievement. It is acquired by trying to leave the park at the very beginning. Once you spawn in the parking lot, go past the gate and walk up the hill to unlock this achievement. It can be seen in the video below at the 0:00 mark.

The mist achievement is missable. From the start of the game you leave out of the fence behind you, and walk up the road. As the mist completely surrounds you the achievement will pop. Note that you have to manually back out of the mist to get back down the road.

Missable

You will start the game outside the Atlantic Island Amusement Park in the carpark. The game will instruct you to head towards the main gates of the park. Instead of heading in that direction, proceed to the exit of the car park via the boom gate and keep walking up the road away from the carpark. Once you get to the top of the road you will be engulfed by the mist and the game will automatically turn you around and make you head back towards the Atlantic Island Amusement Park. At this point the trophy will unlock.

*MISSABLE*

At the very beginning of the game, before you walk up to the entrance to the park, turn to your right and exit the parking lot through the toll post. Keep walking up the road and eventually your screen will be covered in mist. When you can’t walk any farther, you will turn around and the achievement will unlock.
