How to unlock the CLOSE ENCOUNTERS achievement in The Plane Effect - Definitive Guide

You will need to get this at the very start of Chapter 7, The Car and the Spiders From Mars. To progress with the story, you need to get into your car and drive down the road. For this trophy, however, ignore the car completely and just start running down the road on foot. After about 30-40 seconds of running, a massive UFO will come along and pick you up (you don't need to press anything, it'll happen automatically). When it does, the trophy will unlock. You'll reload back in at the start of the chapter.

At the beginning of the level, get in your car and leave the parking lot. Once you are on the main road, exit your car and walk either right or left until you get to the fence. Eventually the UFO will appear and abduct you. I tested during an additional playthrough and you can get it later in the level as well, when you run out of gas. Just keep walking north on the road and the UFO will eventually appear.
