The Quarry

There are multiple ways to get this. Here is as succinct a breakdown of those options as I could make:

During chapter 5, Kaylee will always be killed by Laura and found floating in the pool.

During chapter 9, Laura will kill Constance during the smash A portion of fighting over the gun.

During chapter 9, Ryan will be stabbed by Bobby. Choose to leave the knife in until Bobby finally catches up to him later, then choose to stab Bobby with the knife. This guarantees Chris, in werewolf form, will kill him soon after.

During chapter 9, there are two ways Jedediah can be killed. The first is as Laura, after succeeding in three QTEs, you can choose to Attack him. Do so and you will smash A to kill him. If instead of attack you choose to go out of the window/ run, Jedediah will still be killed by Chris, in werewolf form, during a later sequence.

During chapter 9, Laura and Ryan find Chris chained in the attic. He breaks free and they all fall through the floor. At this point Chris can kill both Bobby and Jedediah if you followed the steps above for those. Ultimately, as Ryan, you will have control to shoot and kill Chris.

During this same sequence in chapter 9, Laura and Travis CAN kill each other but only IF you took his gun at some point during chapter 7 and shot him once. If you did, Travis uses a mirror shard to kill Laura and then as Ryan you do a QTE and shoot Travis. If during chapter 7 you instead knocked out Travis with the syringe, you can choose, as Laura, to work together with Travis. Then, during the final sequence of the game, as Laura choose NOT to raise the gun at Silas and FAIL the QTE when Travis tries to grab the gun. This will cause Laura to shoot and kill Travis. Then you can still shoot and kill the sleeping Silas.

One other option exists here to kill Travis. If Ryan declined to be bitten by Laura a little earlier, he will die after shooting Chris. Then as Laura you must pass a QTE and shoot Travis.

The final Hackett is Caleb, and he can be killed two different ways in chapter 10. The first is, if in chapter 9 Abi or Emma found the silver shells in the basement of the lodge, they can slide them under the door to Kaitlyn if choose "INVESTIGATE" while running away from Caleb/ the werewolf. You then can shoot Caleb - i would suggest waiting a second until he starts running at you as I missed once when he was farther away which killed Kaitlyn.

The other way to kill Caleb is much more complicated. If during the first chapter you broke into the cabin as Abi and found the stuffed animal, you can then leave your bag in the kitchen during chapter 5 while hiding from Bobby as she and others escape out a window. All of that leads to Kaitlyn and Dylan in the kitchen in chapter 10 with Caleb-as-werewolf. As Kaitlyn, you can go toward the walk-in freezer, notice the stuffed animal, and instead of you going in, you throw the stuffed animal which causes Caleb to follow the noise. You lock him in the freezer, and after you kill Silas, Caleb will have frozen to death in human form in the freezer.

There are 7 Hackett family members to kill. Most can only be killed in certain instances, while some may have multiple means of dying.

Okay I’m going to try my best to remember everything I did.

Mother:
When you are Laura and Constance (Mother) grabs ahold of your shotgun, keep smashing the A button to win the fight and to blow her face off.

Bobby:
After you get stabbed with the knife as Ryan DO NOT take the knife out. Later you will fight Bobby and it will pop up to stab him. You pull the knife out of your side and stab him, later he’ll be weakened from the stab and unable to defend himself from the creature.

Jedediah:
He will be chasing you as Laura, you’ll get a pop up to run or attack, you ATTACK, you will then have to mash the A button to snap his neck.

Chris:
As you are Ryan (I took the bite from Laura, idk what happens if you didn’t let her bite you for this part), you will see Laura transform and there will be another creature in the room, it will attack and kill Bobby (if you stabbed him earlier on) and then it will pop up for you to shoot the creature, shoot it, it’s Chris.

Chris’s kids:
The daughter will be dead in the pool already from Laura.
The son will be chasing Kaitlyn at the end in the Lodging area, you’ll have to do a few QTE and button mashing to get to the part where you can shoot him. Make sure you get the silver shell from Abi (if she’s still alive) idk if Emma will roll it to you if she’s alone. (You’ll find the silver shell in the bunker before you climb up to the room Emma and Abi are in I think it was from chapter 8 maybe 9.

Travis:
After Chris dies I had Laura team up with Travis. Doing that it had Laura and Ryan running with Travis together to find the creature that started it all….Silas. As you get to Silas don’t shoot him at first, Travis will get pissed and try to take the shotgun from you, LOSE the QTE or Button mashing (I can’t remember what it was), by losing you’ll shoot Travis and killing him. You then can shoot Silas if you want for the killing Silas achievement.
