This is for doing an outstanding job in episode one, and is extremely missable.
You gain points for finding secrets and lose points for using the Hot spot highlight feature (10) and Hint function (didn't use it) in the journal.
I solved 16 secrets for 19,500 points but ended the episode with 19,450 points because I used the Hot spot highlight feature 5 times.

Unlock the toolbox outside the train +2500 (3500)
Open violin case +2000 (5500)
Use graphite powder on window to reveal fingerprints +1500 (7000)
Report to Legrand about unlocking Lucien's compartment +1000 (8000)
Trapped in stone
Uncouple the train +2000 (10000)
Fire, steel and steam
Find Matt by looking under the table +500 (10500)
Use axe to release coupling +2000 (12500)

I'm not sure how many points you actually need for the Master rank but I missed the graphite on the window and apparently used the hot spot feature twice (probably while i figuring the buttons out).
I got 17980 points at the end of the chapter and the achievement still popped.

Just wanted to advise that I missed examining two items in the violin case before I picked up the purse and then didn't examine the purse before I gave it back to the Baroness and still got the three achievements at the end of the episode. So don't panic if you miss some stuff.
