How to unlock the Home alone achievement in The Riftbreaker - Definitive Guide

There are several different kinds of traps and you’ll need to research them first, the easiest to get is probably Fire Trap under Base and Buildings, Fire Traps - Level 1 is directly under Defensive Buildings 1.
Once you have a trap researched and a quiet moment you can start building them. They’re at the end of the Defensive Buildings sub menu (you can hit
to select the trap type you want if you have more than one).
Traps only allow you to build so many per map and it’s less than 250, so you’ll have to spam build (Hold
and move your cursor or your Mech) and when you can’t build anymore use your sell tool and run back over the ones you built (remember you can make tools bigger with 
). You’ll probably want to do this in a clearer area near your base but outside the walls so you have room to run.
Rinse and repeat until you have the achievement.
Side note: if you’re using traps they eventually break and it counts as a building being destroyed (you’ll get the audio prompt), don’t panic, just run your repair tool over broken traps and they’ll repair to full. I’m not sure if repairing counts as a new trap being built or not but they’re cheap and easy so just spam build them for the achievement.
