The prologue has large packs of neutral raptor-like creatures scattered around the grassy areas that you can quickly take out with the starting weapons while making use of dash to keep up with any that run away. In just a few minutes you should be able to rack up around 100-150 kills and then restart the level for fresh spawns and ammo.

If you are in for the survival mode… I burned a lot of those little bugs with the flame thrower. They crossed my path way more often than the raptor-type guys
