This is EASILY the fastest way of doing it so long as you don't mind dying a lot!

You should probably add that the best "HQ" to spawn at for this method, would be the slaughterhouse HQ, Bois De Boulogne spawn, or the Le Havre spawn as the weapons guy is like 2 feet away from you.

In the Catacombs, the weapon guy is deep in the tunnel, and you have to walk around people to get to him every time, which can be annoying. At the Belle spawn, you have to go outside and across the street to get to the weapons dealer.

Just a little add-on.

Thanks for the tip. Was taking forever unloading and restocking of ammo. Finished up the last 20k in under 10 minutes.

I have to add that if you go to casual and then set it to the hardest difficulty. It does not do the trick you mentioned.

ESS3NC3 0F 3V1L--you're wrong. It worked perfectly. I changed the difficulty to "Feckin' Hard" from the main menu before choosing "Continue Game," and this trick let me spend 2,125f every minute.

I did this during last mission. You need to have perk that brings you shop guy when you ask vehicle.

Drive to Eiffel tower - it saves checkpoint when you drive to yellow circle and then have short talk with chick - after that - die, you spawn back, call car, buy ammo, blow yourself up. Repeat.

2120 contraband spent on ammo every ~90 seconds, if you respawn at the meatpacking HQ. You must choose 'Continue Game' from the main menu otherwise the difficulty change doesn't stick.

Once you have the required Contraband. Set your difficulty to "Feckin Hard" and kill yourself with explosives. Return to HQ. Purchase all ammo, then kill yourself again. Repeat until you have spent the 75k.

If you still need to earn enough Contraband to sell 75k worth, here is a quick way to get some. (You should note that if you want to 100% complete the game, you will gain enough contraband through normal gameplay of clearing the maps of all Nazi towers, AA guns, sniper nests, etc.)

1. Go to the Champs Elysees area. (I did this after I had completed the main story)
2. Locate that large "round-about" on the map with the design of a sun/star in it.
3. Directly to the SE there is a large building that is off limits and will cause nazi to attack when you are in the area. Go to the South side of the building and use the elevator to reach the roof.
4. In the SW corner of the roof, there is an AA Missile turret. Once the enemies in the area are killed, jump on the turret and look to the sky for a Zepplin and shoot it down.
5. After shooting the Zepplin and gaining contraband for it, spin the turret around and find another Zepplin to shoot. You can continue to spin the turret and find more and more Zepplins that respawn when you look away. I found 2 to 3 zepplins in every 360 degree spin of the turret.
(A tip from PiCkLE SQU1D: Fire twice at the Zepplin then start turning before it blows up. It seems to make the Zepplins spawn faster and will cut down on your time.)

I am guessing there are other spots where this could be done as well, but this one works for sure. This would only work if you havent destroyed that AA Missile Turret yet. If you have destroyed the turrets on this building, I would try another turret in the Southern part of Paris (Area 3) since there tend to be more Zepplins in that area.

Yes, but I had completed the game and not earned 75k, so I needed a quick way to earn some to sell. I clearly stated at the top, that this was a way to earn contraband fast, which is needed for the achievement.

I just found this out on my own....on a different location, just after the grand theft limo mission....blimps are only 50 contraband so it will take a while to earn 75k...
And Lushion Rudd....you've got to earn 75k to spend 75k facepalm

I've found a better and faster way.

Go around, blow up stuff, use up all of your explosives (excluding grenades). Then Die, re-spawn at the HQ.

When the game reloads, head over to the nearest smuggler and max-out the ammo for every thing. Total around 2,000. Then repeat.

Another Option:

Get the Terror Scope Sniper Rifle and the Panzershrek and go to the smuggler in Chinatown. Climb on the roof right above him and unload everything. The rifle is auto so you just have to hold the button. No one can spot you, in most cases, and if they do there is a safehouse shack right there to reset your alarm level.

When you unload all of your ammo for these two weapons and throw all of your grenades, drop back down and buy ammo for 860 each trip. I usually don't bother with the dynamite and RDX because it takes too long. This way is a bit more boring but it does keep you out of trouble.

I just bought the Gold perk for sniping and it didn't affect my achievements.

Best for me is Le Havre dealer (at church)
Best moment for grenade throw is moment for reloading panzershrek or other gun.
Sean just throw grenade but weapon is reloaded immediatelly too :) just hold RT and after panzershrek shoot press RB

Terror MG is faster but ammo are less cost
Panzershrek + TerrorMG + Grenades = 440
Panzershrek + Terrorscope Rifle + Grenades = 860

Thanks for solution

By the time you have finished all the ambient freeplay events, you will probably only have spent around 50,000 contraband. It is an obvious point but you should by now have purchased everything that is available in the Weapon Dealers: weapons, maps, upgrades, ammunition, etc. To quickly offload the other 25,000, follow the following tips:

- Set the game difficulty to Feckin' Hard.
- Go to a safe house with a Weapon Dealer inside: the church in Le Havre for example.
- Kill yourself just outside the doorway. A couple of grenades should do it.
- You will spawn back inside the safe-house.
- Go to the Dealer. All of the ammo for every weapon you own will have dropped.
- You should refill all weapons to maximum.
- If you have already bought all the available weapons, this will cost 2,120.
- Repeat this around 12 or 15 times to reach the 75,000 required.

The trophy will pop once you hit 75,000.

Simply buy everything you can; purchase all upgrades, maps and restock your charges and ammo on a regular basis. This should unlock in Act 2 or Act 3, depending how much mayhem you cause.  It is recommended that you wait until you’ve completed all the freeplay events to do this.

If you still have not spent enough by the end of the story, set the difficulty to ‘Feckin' Hard’ to lose all ammunition as you die and kill yourself with two grenades or Dynamite/RDX. On this difficulty, dying results in you losing all of your ammo. You’ll respawn at the nearest headquarters, so proceed to refill your ammo. You’ll spend around 2125 each time, so just keep checking your progress in the stats menu.

Once you’ve spent 75000 contraband, the achievement will unlock.
