A Full Deck

A Full Deck

You collected every card available within the mansion. Someone will be very pleased…

How to unlock the A Full Deck achievement in The Sexy Brutale - Definitive Guide

There are 52 cards to collect (a whole deck). They are scattered throughout the mansion. You must collect them all for a hidden ending (in the Room of Old Habits). For the most part, you will be able to collect almost all of them by yourself, without any help. However, by the end of the game you might be missing a couple and have no clue where you haven't checked yet. It is highly suggested that you keep track of what you have already collected. Then, you can see which ones you need and reference the guide.

All 52 Cards are listed here with locations and Images as well as a handy checklist.

just in case it happens to others, i had issues with my last card:
2 of diamonds - check the dumbwaiter before the staff member puts the knights arm in it, you can check it from the basement or the dining room
Since i got the arm from it, i never thought to check it earlier. Hope it helps!

I have 52 out of 52 but achievement still shows 98%. Anyone know how to fix so I don't have to play the whole game again?

Picked up a card and my counter didn't increase, so finished the game at 51/52 :/ Guess I need a new playthrough?

This video has all locations (and time-coded listing in the description, if you're missing a Brochure card).

This particular trophy is difficult because there's no easy way to keep track of which cards you've collected. With time, people will certainly make maps that will make things easier. Here are important things to keep in mind when trying to find the last few cards.

- Obviously check everywhere you can. You'll frequently find cards in bookshelves or even just laying on the floor out of the way. Sometimes they can be partially obscured by the environment.

- Check fireplaces before they are lit. The King of Clubs is responsible for lighting them, so make sure to follow his route and check the fireplaces before he gets to them. There is no card in the room he starts in. Also check any other unlit fireplaces.

- Similarly, there is a card in the dumbwaiter in the basement kitchen (presumably where the staff eats). You need to get here ASAP, because eventually the card will be replaced with an item needed for a puzzle. You need to check the dumbwaiter before that happens to get this card.

- In the basement, there are several minor puzzles that have cards, such as with the pinball, or the giant gramophone. There's also a room with a lot of cards that you walk over. As you get other cards, a bridge will build that you can walk across to pick up a card.

- Cards appear in the chests that you can unlock once you become capable of picking locks. These appear on the map. Make sure you check each one.

- Similarly, there are cards in the stained glass red decanters scattered around the mansion on pedestals. Make sure to shatter them by singing after acquiring that ability.

- Talk to all of the ghosts. Off hand, the ghost in the cathedral playing the organ will have a card, as well as the ghost in the room with the slot machine in the west wing. This is the last machine that Aurum hits during his route.

- There's a card on top of one of the security cameras in the casino. Turn it off to get it to fall.

- There's a card in the room with Clay (The guy playing blackjack in the casino). You'll have to wait until he dies to get it.

That's all I can think of off hand. I hope it helps until a proper map is made.

You’ll earn this trophy by collecting all 52 of the playing cards that are the game’s main collectible. I’d suggest for the best experience that during your initial play through of the game that you not use a guide, but do keep track of which of the cards you find (the game doesn’t provide a list of which you’ve collected, instead just showing your total); once you’ve completed the game’s main story, you can then go back and gather any that you’ve missed. At this point, you can refer to a guide for assistance if desired.

iBaddriveri has put together a video guide illustrating the location of all 52 cards (and all 9 invitations), which I’ve included below – as taken from the original thread posted here.

Alternatively, a text and still image based guide is available here.
