You need to collect 18 Maki Rolls in under 2:00 to complete the time challenge. The cloud platforms can be difficult to land on, but with patience and practice, it will come.

You need to do a nearly flawless run to come in under the two minute limit. You can save a couple of seconds (every little bit helps) from how the video shows below if you boost roll up the curved yellow ramp in order to catch the fifth roll (see around the 21 second mark in the video) rather than run up the silver ramp and double-jump up to it.

When approaching the roll atop the mast, aim directly for the mast, as it can stop you in a position that you can easily drop safely onto the platform, rather than take the risk of missing the item and have to try again.

Until you have this down pat, if you miss a roll or a platform, just keep going and perfect the later portions of your speed run. Then once you know it frontways and back, you can reset if you make a mistake. You can probably afford one fall off a cloud and still come in under time with a perfect run the rest of the way.

The video above is a very good guide - I highly recommend it as it provides a solid base on which to meet the target.

It took me about a dozen goes, after not playing the game for 6 months, to get this achievement. There are a couple of keys that are not shown in the video that are well worth knowing.

1 - roll using Homerball as much as possible. It saves precious seconds over just running.
2 - burp a couple of times during the run. If Homer's meter fills up he will not pick up any maki rolls, so burping empties the meter.
3 - Perfect the helium tank float to the mast and to the clouds. These are the real pivot points to this time trial. If you can accurately use helium Homer it is a massive help.

That said, I made a couple of tweaks to the video and solution above.

At the start I became Homerball and rolled to get the first roll as per the video, but I then made a quick detour to the cage on the left to smash it and gain the second one while I was in the area before rolling down to the side of the boat and homerballing to pick up the next three.

I also detoured after picking up those three (after burping) to pick up the maki roll on the ship's deck (in the video, Homer drops to get it from the mast) and I got both the double jump maki rolls beefore getting the two on the clouds at the back of the boat.

From there I got the one on the mast, dropped down, got the three along the other side (good time to burp) and then rolled up to get the last four. If you have 45 seconds or more left by now you should do it comfortably. I got the roll on the cloud on the starboard side of the boat (if Homer faces towards the stern of the boat), before doubling back and picking up the two on the port side. As the video shows, fall off the cloud closest to the boat on the post side and you'll reappear on the bow tip, making the last maki roll an easy fast Homerball roll away.

I did this in 1.57 and fell off the boat twice, so it can be done.
