How to unlock the Legacy Player achievement in The Sims 4 - Definitive Guide

Do the exact same as the solution to the Alphabet Legacy achievement. Have a sim adopt a child, force age it to a young adult using a cake, then have the adopted sim then adopt another and keep repeating the steps. Once your household is full, kill all sims apart from the newest one adopted.
It costs $1000 to adopt a child so if you run out of money, simply hire a nanny, befriend her,
ask her to move in then that's $20,000 added to the household

if just looking for the achievement itself, the sims 4 community has families you can download from the gallery that already have this condition met (or just about to reach it), so that is the quickest option available

I'm having trouble with this achievement. I began the game with Sim 1. He impregnanted a woman who gave birth off-lot, then she and baby moved in. Sim 1 and wife continued having children. Off-lot child grew up and had a baby. Baby then had a baby. That baby then adopted. On and on until I'm currently on my 11th generation with no achievement. Sim 1 and wife, plus 3 of their children, are still in the household. 11th generation is here too, about to adopt his first child (12th generation). Everyone else has been moved off-lot.

Any idea why this isn't popping? Is it because my first child was born off-lot? If so, will the counter start with her child (born on lot, technically generation 3) or do I need to start fresh somewhere else? Do you have to kill your ancestral sims? They show up in the sim tree but no achievement.

Edited to add: It popped with Generation #12. Looks like since my first child was born off-lot, the counter didn't start until she had a child on-lot.

If you go to 0:24 of his video and follow along you will download all 9 saves from his tag you will get ALL the achievements from this game. After downloading all 9 worlds you will start a new game, skip tutorial (Select dont ask me again), and open gallery. Hit cn_RB over to "My library" select "Legacy trop-hee family", head down to bottom right to place household, replace, select yes, and then hit play. Once loaded select "Willow Creek", from there select "Streamlet Single" confirm and then play. Once you are loading in you will unlock Alphabet Legacy AND Legacy Player almost instantly!

Select New Game (Dismiss Tutorial if this comes up).

Scroll right and select 'Open the Gallery'.

Search for 'Legacy Trop-Hee Family' and download the family made by 'Misier'.

Select 'Place Household' and choose Replace. After this go to the bottom right and press 'Play'.

Next choose 'Willow Creek' & then 'Streamlet Single'. Press confirm to load up the map.

Finally press the Ultra Speed button and the achievement should pop within a few seconds.
