How to unlock the Rosebud achievement in The Sims 4 - Definitive Guide
Select New Game (Dismiss Tutorial if this comes up).
Scroll right and select 'Open the Gallery'.
Search for 'Trop-hee Family' and download the family made by 'Gaania'.
Select 'Place Household' and choose Replace. After this go to the bottom right and press 'Play'.
Next choose 'Willow Creek' & then 'Streamlet Single'. Press confirm to load up the map.
The achievement should pop within a few seconds.
Created a random sim, moved them into the cheapest place. after about 30 seconds I chose to move household. Looked for the most expensive house that was occupied. Merged families. Once I moved in I then made a cake and made sure everyone was at least a young adult. Then I built a small swimming pool and put a wall mostly around it, then made everyone except my sim get in. Back into build mode, put the rest of the wall up and let all the extras drown. Once everyone except my sim was dead, I repeated the above steps until the achievement popped. Took less than 30 minutes.
Pretty simple. Any questions, comment below or pm me.
Thanks to The Big McShane for getting the idea started.
If starting from scratch or to preserve your current world:
If you don't give a fig:
* Go to a vacant lot, choose "Create New Household to Move In"
* Create the new Sim.
* Go back to the lot on your most recently created Sim. Click on lot, and go left two icons to "Build".
* Go to Objects by Function. Note that where your monetary details would be normally is an infinity symbol.
* Go to Activities and Skills, then Creative. Find the object "The Virtuoso Violin" for 15,000 simoleons.
* Put down about 70 of the suckers. On the account I verified this with, I wrote out ROSEBUD using 5x7 letters just to be cute.
* Save. Return to Manage Worlds.
* Go to your violin-laden plot. Press play. Let it load. Receive Achievement.
Do not attempt to do this with a Sim you've already played with, as building edits will cost simoleons.
Instead of creating a new Sim to work with, you can also use a prebuilt family. I prefer the new Sim method because it's a lot easier hitting Bulldoze when you're done instead of individually selling however many violins individually. Unless you really hate the BFFs, then do your worst.
get them all to be painters(the skill not profession). by the time they are level 10 i had some paintings that were worth 4-12k ea. when i got my maxed profession achievement, they quit their job (after spending all vaca days) and focused on painting. should have this before i finish getting all professions.
They make more money off paintings in a day then any of the professions maxed out. so 6-8 painters even just doing this in their off time can rake in big bucks.
REWARDS TO PURCHASE :
Marketable - stuff you make sells for more
Creative visionary - more likely to get masterpiece
ROOM CONSTRUCTION (ideal to set up multiple rooms for different skills - i.e. focus or inspire auras by a computer)
Post cards!!! obtained by finding a pen pal and requesting them.
atm i have 600k dollars including house worth and im just about to get 6 more professions with 3 left. when i hit a million dollars i intend to drop 4 people so i can go for triplets n what not. im not doing the generation achievements. outrageous.
While the solutions already submitted are fantastic if you want to get it legitimately, there is a much easier method for those of us without morals.

Whilst this may initially seem an excessive amount, take into account that you’re going to be working your way to the max level of 10 different careers. Combine this potential income with the benefits of having the “Shrewd” trait, which you can either earn from completing the “Fabulously Wealthy” Aspiration or unlock with the cheat code, this sum of money isn’t that daunting and will amass naturally as you play through the game.
Having the “Shrewd” trait unlocked will result in your Sim receiving a weekly deposit, the amount of this deposit is 5% of your total household funds. This acts as almost a second income and when your total funds are comfortably in the 6-figure region, you’ll start making more Simoleons from this trait than your actual job. Aside from having to pay your bills, you’ve no other reason to spend your funds beyond the bare essentials for living and working on your skills, so save up all that you earn.
It consists in the fact that you need to do the following:
1) open the map (City Management)
2) we are looking for a cool house (where the family already lives)
3) we go to visit them
4) get to know one of his tenants and attract his attention (he will either be single or married, which is a little more difficult for starting a relationship)
5) develop a relationship with this character, marry him and drag his entire family over to us. And after we have moved all the characters to our “window”, click SELL FURNITURE FROM THE SITE. About 200,000 per family “sticks” to you
6) it is necessary to kill all the “extra” Sims (I built a box for them and removed the door, they still get out of the pool, since the fence is not built around it, and they get out without a ladder)
7) repeat until the required amount of money
8) get a trophy
PS is great for combining with the prize associated with killing 5 spouses (Survive 5 spouses).
- go to the map and find a family with a rich house
- click on moving to a playable family with the sale of property on the site.
- repeat the procedure until you receive the trophy; if necessary, use the family editor to delete or send unwanted Sims to another family.
