How to unlock the Tungsten Chef achievement in The Sims 4 - Definitive Guide
To start, get an oven, a fridge, and a counter or a grill and counter, or buy the cooking books from a bookshelf or watch the cooking channel.
I got this achievement by having my sim join the chef career and cooking several meals a day. Within two hours my sim had this skill maxed out. I also had my sim watch the cooking channel when their entertainment level low.
This skill and the Gourmet Cooking Skill are the easiest to level up since you need to cook food anyways to feed your Sim. The Cooking Skill is required for both branches of the Cooking Career (Chef and Mixologist). To level it up, you just need to keep cooking food.
Your skill will increase faster if you have the “Inspired” Moodlet active. There is a painting you can buy from the store (in Build Mode) that will activate an Aura that will give you a permanent Inspired Moodlet so long as you are close by. The painting, however, requires you to reach Level 3 of either the Painting or Writing career.
If you don’t have that career level yet, getting inspired is not too difficult. Here are the different ways to get Inspired:
- Plunk for Inspiration (Piano)
- Pluck for Inspiration (Guitar)
- Bow for Inspiration (Violin)
- Earn the “Delicious Meal” Moodlet from cooking (Gourmet Cooking level 4 required)
- Take a Thoughtful Shower
- Drink Prose and Pop (Mixology Level 1, Bar Required)
The trophy will unlock once you reach Level 10 Cooking.
If you are completing Aspirations for points to spend on the Rewards Store, you want to work on Food - Master Chef while leveling up this skill.
Start by preparing your oven, refrigerator, counter or grill, or buying cookbooks from your bookshelf or watching cooking TV shows.
From one site: I got this achievement when my Sim joined the Chef career and cooked multiple meals a day. Within two hours my simulator got this skill. Sim also watched the cooking channel when the entertainment level was low.
