Fairly certain this is story related and cannot be missed.
After finishing up flashpoint island, you walk back towards the way you came into the cave. Go up the ladder in that main hallway, which is the landing caves.
**This achievement is broken and has not been fixed in the latest patch by Grip Digital**
I sent them a tweet letting them know it's still unobtainable.
12/4/16 I personally went through this game to this point and did not unlock the achievement. I have a save file at the beginning to the caves once you use the 4 keys on the tower at flashpoint island for once this achievement is fixed.

on xbox one there is no test server, so technically achievements cannot be tested fully like on the 360 why we see so many launch broken

I mean.. I wouldn't postpone a game over a couple glitched achievements that might just unlock with a patch later on if you met the criteria.

looks like the october patch date will be missed, could be due to the overwhelming amount of stuff in cert could be a bit or they just never got to submitted it yet

looks like they did a lot with the patch though with the locked 60 fps now and a bunch of other fixes, hopefully they will try again to fix this achievement

The other two glitched achievements were fixed. This one though is not. My question is, if they took this long to release a patch and fix the achievements why didn't they make sure that all the broken ones were fixed?

As of the time of writing Jan/9/17, this damn achievement is still glitched. There is no word from the dev team on when if a new patch is going be released.

@Gruber Hof I had my score evened out because of the unobtainable one , it's been odd for nearly 10 years

@wellintonbalbo I tried tweeting as well for a while and they completely ignored me.
As Gurber mentioned, an odd gamerscore is very annoying especially when an incompetent developer actively promotes a broken game on social media. Seriously, how hard is it to actually fix one achievement? They could pay a freelancer for a couple of days and all will be well.

Such a shame, the game is excellent, this is the only gripe which prevents my 100%. But if there was a sequel i'd be all over it on the strength of the gameplay alone. Achievements need to work guys!

It's not looking good, if you are checking anything it looks like they have moved on to there next title, unless they have a few people still working on this game it appears the chances of another patch are all but gone :(

Sad news guys!!! This game has been launched on PS4 and this trophy can be obtained there. It would be a good oportunity to fix it here but they never will do. They are just Liars!!!! They said "It will happen for sure but it is not under my control so can't say when." Liars!! I do not trust them anymore

Man, this is exactly why we need to be able to curate our games lists. I supported them when they were in alpha, and this is what I get? A near perfect profile with tons of hard games complete, thousands upon thousands of hours. Big ol stain from Solus Project. Yuck.

They are not responding to my email, I'm trying to run unhandled until acid trip and without saving, I'm trying to run a hard run, I have 1 rescue before flashpoint and one after putting the 4 keys.I do not give up so easily there is a way to unlock it anyway.I'm studying the glitches of this game and also how the unlocking code of achievement works. In my opinion, hope is the last to die.
