How to unlock the Risk Tolerant achievement in The Surge 2 - Definitive Guide
To get the achievement, you need to be carrying 30K techscrap and beat the boss.
It seems like you need to have the scrap on you from the beginning. I tried to get round it and dismantle scrap piles and caches in my inventory just before delivering the killing blow to the boss. Doesn't work. 🙁 I tried with Delver Echo Alpha and with Goddess Helena. I had 70K of scrap on me when I finally killed Helena and no cheevo. 😥
Don't sweat it too much. I got it for Archangel Eli, the final boss of the game. The good thing is that when you die, your scrap stays not in the boss arena, but on the platform BEFORE the arena, so there's almost no risk of losing it... if you don't die on your way from the med bay to the platform, that is. But even if you do, getting 30K scrap on the great wall is not too much work.

I tried converting the tech scrap option too and it failed for me also. But what did work was picking up the scrap from a previous death inside the arena. So even though I didn't start with 30K on my person at the start, it still counted after picking up my previous drop before the boss death (Delver Echo C in my case).

I just recently got this and to be honest the easiest fight i did this was on the second major boss fight brother elias you should by then have the starfish stun drone mod just consantly use it like ALOT it staggers and often stuns him out right just also watch out for his goon but if your lucky should be able to stun the goon too so its really not tough just be careful. if down vote please say why
This one's a bit obvious, but you'll want to have 30k scrap on your character when entering a boss fight and successfully defeat the boss. This can be done in NG+ if you wish, and I'd suggest targeting one of the earlier human bosses (possibly Captain Cervantes in Gideon's Rock) to attempt it. You should have no problem getting scrap quickly at that point in the game, and this fight is in a very small enclosed area so if you die you can grab it immediately upon returning to the arena.

The trophy is easy to obtain in Gideon's Rock when you fight Captain Cervantes. By the time you reach him, the area and opponents have already been sufficiently studied, and most likely you will defeat him the first time. And by that time there will be enough parts.

Here, as in the first part, you won’t be able to use the cache of spare parts on the boss itself. It must be used before entering the boss, then the trophy will be given.

If you immediately exit the game after dying from the boss and start it again, the save will go until the fight with the boss, and not after the fact of death, as in the same dark souls. Saves a lot of time running back to the boss.
Or, if you don’t immediately pull the boss himself, then try to die near the entrance to him in order to immediately return the parts before the fight. Almost all paths to bosses are easy to navigate without unnecessary fights
