How to unlock the Where It All Began achievement in The Surge 2 - Definitive Guide

After defeating Matriarch Celeste and entering the underground, process through the area until you reach the door for the Detention Centre. Enter the door and the achievement will unlock.

The path the video takes actually requires the Charged Nano Absorption so to follow this video you need to beat Matriarch Celeste, continue on to fight H.AR.O.L.D. at the Creo Institute and then return to the spot at the start of the video.

You can access the detention center through Jericho Downtown. Just enter the door and the achievement will pop.

Just go to Warren hideout and take the force hook down from his secret room. and there will be a magnetic lift which takes you right there

I entered from Jericho Downtown, pretty soon after leaving for the first time, it did not pop from entering this way for me.

OK, turns out this will only pop in the second part of the game, when the world changes. I reentered from the roof, and this popped. There's seem to be three ways to enter, the front door, roof, and from the Underground. I have to assume any of those will work once you hit world change.

You will actually reach the Underground entrance first in the second part of the game, since you can reach it as soon as you get the Lift Hook, which you will get before Warren contacts you again to continue his sidequest to meet him back at his Underground hideout, and the entrance to the Detention Center is really closeby to there.

This achievement will only unlock after the big change in the world mentioned in Part 1 of the Road Map. You can access the prison from the Underground (right next to where you find Warren) or from street level in Jericho City. Once you re-enter the prison the achievement will unlock.

Just go back to prison. Dali after I entered the arena where there was a skirmish with the first boss.

Dali after returning to prison during the Stranger's side quest to obtain the coil. Simply returning to the zone immediately after leaving did not give you an achievement
