How to unlock the Sunglasses at Night achievement in The Surge - Definitive Guide

The opposite of the Repeat Customer achievement.

Don't give Jo any scrap. When you get to R&D and find her little hideaway, the sunglasses will be on a desk to your left.

If you're having trouble locating her room, as soon as you enter R&D, you'll come to a spot where the path continues left, and in front of you there is a partition with boxes on the right. The area will be called, "Pressure Control."

If you gave Jo scrap, you'll have to do this on another playthrough.

I can confirm that if you do not talk to Jo at all, the sunglasses will be in her hideaway on the desk.

Just a heads up, These glasses (and a bunch of other novelty head items) can be worn instead of the head peace of a set, and you will still keep the set bonus.

Location: Research and Development

This trophy can be missed if you started to do Repeat Customer. Every time you give Jo scrap it will change the item that is located in the room, so make sure that you don’t give Jo any scrap before coming here.

When you first enter the research and development area, you will need to run forward and take a right then keep going until you hit a fence blocking your path. At the right side of the fence, there will be an opening that you can go through. Behind this opening you will come across toxic gas so you will need gear or an implant that will prevent you from dying from it. You will come up to a hand scanner that you cannot use. Look above it and you will see an icon of a drone. You will need to have the Botecs power core installed in your drone in order to override that icon and allow you access to the hand scanner. Once it's overridden and you use the scanner to enter the room, on your left-hand side you will find the sunglasses.

Missable!

Note that this achievement and "Repeat Customer" are mutually exclusive. On your way to R&D, take a side tunnel. Poison gas will pour out. Use your drone to overload a high-up control panel, then go into the room that opens. The sunglasses and your achievement will be waiting inside.

It won't work if you give Joe the debris for the Frequent Customer trophy.

The room with glasses is located on the “Research Center” map

When you fall under the floor after the 3rd boss, the room will be hidden until you exit into the foyer.
There will also be gas there, and to open the door you need to bypass the energy circuit with a drone.
I did not give Joe spare parts when receiving this trophy.

Speeded up to points on NG+ in an hour and a half. It is better to close the question immediately with fresh memory.

The trophy can be missed.

After you fall into the location with the laboratories after the battle with the third boss, you will find yourself in a stairwell, in one of the walls of which there will be an inconspicuous dark passage. There will be a closed door to Joe's hideout and a gas trap. If we didn’t give Joe spare parts, we open the door with a drone and take the glasses.
