The sequence that worked for me was to always start with the fuse box. Hope the family goes to the basement to defend that exit, then go for the pressure valve, and lastly the generator.

The most important thing here is to move quickly and know where to go. This map below should help you get a clear route in mind (It might miss some details).
I did it at the family house. Possibly the easiest if the generator spawns at the back, right by the pressure system. Don't forget to drop in the well if things are not working out and stab grampa if he gets to level 5.

Extra tip. I've tried once leaving the fuse box from later and when I got there it was already "fixed", so I just turned it on. That didn't pop the achievement for me. Maybe a bug but it's good to keep that in mind.

The easiest method I've found to do this BY FAR is on Family House.
When you start, grab two(2) toolkits, get a blue door open, and work your way up to the main floor. Now find a fuse(spawns are behind the shelf in the enclosed back patio area, behind the couch in the room with the locked door[NOT the main front door], and the dining room.

Once you have the fuse(you should still have a toolkit as well), make your way upstairs to the fuse box. Open the box with the toolkit and insert the fuse, then complete the puzzle 3/4 of the way. Exit out. Now with an empty inventory, hunt around upstairs for the valve spawn and either a health potion(if you choose to jump out the window) or a tool kit(if you choose to go out one of the front doors).

Go back to the fuse box and finish it and open the basement door. The reason for waiting until now to unlock the door is to maximize your distraction window. With the basement door unlocked and the valve + health/tool in possession, and (hopefully)the family frantically trying to get down to the basement, make your way downstairs and out front via either one of the doors or the front window. Even if the pressure tank spawned in the enclosed side yard with the ladder entrance, ignore it for now. You want to kick the generator off first. If you got lucky and the pressure tank is right next to the genny, just turn on the pressure tank immediately after and you're good to go. If it spawned back inside the gated area, you can either hide it out in the front yard or jump down a well. I don't recommend mad bombing it to the tank.
If you moved quick enough the basement door should just have closed, and the family will be likely running up the back stairs from the basement exit to head outside after hearing the generator shut off, so you can try slipping back inside after they pass you. Or you can try jumping in the nearest well and making your way to that ladder entrance right by the tank. But keep in mind the family might be in the basement still and hear you fall. Now just attatch the valve and mash the "x" button and you're all done!
