*As of 23/98 this achievement seems to be buggy*
There's a chance you'll do everything as needed and the achievement may not unlock.

From the comments, no one has been able to unlock it in Private matches but people have been able to unlock it in Public (not guaranteed as others have had issue in public)

I'll update this accordingly.

To get this achievement you need to last a match without being detected by Gramps!

Gramps is an NPC that can be found sitting in a chair somewhere on the map. His location changes each match. Once he is awake he will yell every so often, and if your character is moving while he is yelling your location will be revealed to the family - you'll know you've been revealed if your character glows yellow. If this happens, you're locked out of the achievement. Gramps can also be levelled up, if he reaches stage 4 you cannot hide from his yells.

You want to try escaping from the map WITHOUT being revealed by gramps.

I'll go more in-depth into gramps and this achievement below.

Gramps initially starts the game asleep and is woken up in two ways.
1: the family feeds him blood and wakes him up
2: The victims make too much noise and wake him up
I'm not sure about this but I think that if the victims open a metal door that leads out of the basement, this will automatically wake him up.

Once he is awake you will be notified.

As soon as you see this notification STAY STILL! He is about to yell and when he does your location will be revealed if you're moving. If your character glows with a yellow outline, that means you've been revealed to the family and you're locked out of this achievement for this match.

Once he stops yelling you're free to carry on with what you're doing.

If your character is interacting with something, it seems his yelling has no effect on you. However, I suggest playing it safe and just wait a moment before you carry on with your interaction.

As the family feeds him blood Gramps will level up into the next stage of his cycle. He has a total of 4 stages. You will be notified each time he enters a new stage and when he enters a new stage he will yell right away, so always stay still.

The duration between yells shorts the higher his level is.

If he reaches stage 4, you're fucked!

When he yells at level 4, it doesn't matter where you are. If you're still, or hiding in a locker or whatever, your location will be revealed and you're locked out of the achievement.

I haven't tested this, but from my understanding is that you can delevel him by knocking him out. To do so you will need a bone knife. You can get one of these by searching a pile of bones - you tend to find a lot of these bone piles in the basement.

Once you have one, approach Gramps and press RT to stab him. This will knock him out for a short while and apparently, delevel him.

However, if you're going for this achievement I suggest NOT doing this as going near Gramps you will risk him giving your location away before he yells. If you're playing coop, your friends can go ahead and stab him to give you a bit of extra time to escape.

Seen people are having problems but this is what happened in my game .

I didn’t pick lock the door , a team mate opened the door . I followed them out .

once I escaped the basement , I waited it out waiting for a opportunity with little movement HIDING in the bushes .

Family went pass me numerous times which resulted in the outter rim of the screen flashing red and yellow ( this is okay ) what you don’t want is the character itself too flash yellow ( cause failure to unlock the achievement )

Team mate opened a exit which I use for my first escape. When grandpa level I would hide and stay still . I came face to face with leather face passed him and it unlocked .

( I mention that a family member saw me as I seen people say it void the achievement , it’s okay as along as grandpa . ALSO don’t run near grandpa as that could lead to him detecting you )
