How to unlock the Love Steam achievement in The True - Definitive Guide

You can unlock this immediately upon starting a new game. In the room you start in, walk up to the door in the corner with the blue "C" looking symbol on it and press the Y button to take a shower.
As soon as you're able, press A to skip the cutscene for the "Hate Steam" achievement.
Now press Y to re-enter the shower and watch the entire cutscene for the "Love Steam" achievement as well as knowing you just witnessed the most gratuitous shower scene in video game history.
It's best to knock these both out now because you can't re-enter the shower after progressing the story and you'll have to delete your save data and do a new game if you miss either of these.
