For this achievement, you must find and complete all 5 stories before finishing the game. Each story has an achievement tied to it so it's easy to keep track of which ones you've done. The achievements you're looking for are:
- Sap (1:15)
- Fangs (15:58)
- Behind the Veil (23:52)
- The Wish (27:12)
- The Curse of the Sea-Thing (47:48)
The achievement will unlock when the credits start rolling.

Is it possible to backtrack in this game? I missed a lot at the start because I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing and now I'm through the mine section...

From the exit of the mine, at the bottom of the waterfall, it is possible to backtrack to the start of the game.

After solving all the games stories you will
On the wall is a map that will begin crossing out locations in red when you hover over it depending on whether or not you completed that particular story. The location and its story based achievement are as follows:
Traps and Skulls - Sap
Space Capsule - Fangs
House of Portals - Behind the Veil
The Witch Forest - The Wish
Ancient God - The Curse of the Sea Thing
Provided you have these complete there should be the word "Stories" written at the centre of the map. Aim at the word after all of the locations are crossed out and hold down A to watch the final cutscene play out.
