Somehow, this unlocked after I finished Chapter 4, after 5 and 6. Gotta love Xbox's lag XD

same, It did not pop for me after finishing episode 3, will have to re watch episode 3 after I finish the rest

EDIT: I got the achievement the next day when I opened the game and started Episode 4

Weird, mine didn't unlocked at all and I noticed when the chapter 5 popped. So I opened the achievements from the game menu and it appeared

for me the issues with unlocking wasn't random (that doesn't change the fact that it was still annoying).. but what caused it for me was my controller turning off (100% correlation between that and no achievement popping with three data samples throughout my playthrough)

i hope this helps someone (there could be other random reasons i just wanted to share that i caught onto my own personal reason for it not working)

Story related, cannot be missed.

Comfort Clementine and continue to the building David circled on the map. It's infested with walkers, so get ready make a run for the gate by pressing , and mashing to close the fence gate. You'll need to quickly find a way into the building by interacting with the Roll-Up Door. Mash to attempt to lift the door open, but it can only be opened a little bit. Search the nearby Car to find a walker inside it. Interact with the Car Door, press and to quickly kill the walker. Pick up the Jack Handle and use it with the Jack. Press three times to get the Roll-Up Door open and to enter. Once everyone is through, press three times to kick the Jack out. David will be knocking on the door and Clementine will aim her gun at Javier to not let him in.

Make your choice:

  • [Let David in]
    • Jesus will take the gun away from Clementine and Javier will let David in.
  • [Back away]
    • Jesus will let David in and will lose trust in Javier.


After learning of AJ's fate, walkers will bust open the door. Move the crate with to block the door. Show Tripp where you found the crate and it'll be revealed that the items in the building came from Prescott and Kingdom. Max, Lonnie and Badger will enter the building, so press to take cover. A gunfight will ensue and Javier will go after Badger. Press the following to fight Badger , , , mash , , , and . When you get tackled to the ground quickly use to hover over the cup and press and . Badger will be trying to grab a crowbar, press and to stop him. As the fight draws to a close, press , and to shoot him in stomach.

Make your choice:

  • [Kill Badger]
    • Javier uses the Baseball Bat to brutally bash in Badger's head (keep pressing to bash his skull).
  • [Let him turn]
    • Javier will leave Badger to turn as a way of punishing him.


Additionally, if your Conrad is alive he can kill Badger for revenge of Francine's murder or Tripp will automatically kill him if you remain silent. David will win his fight with Max and you'll be given a choice to decide his fate.

Make your choice:

  • [Excute Max]
    • Javier will shoot him in the head.
  • [Take him back]
    • Javier will decide to take him back to Richmond and David will knock him unconscious.


However, if you choose to remain silent, David will shoot Max in the head. Either choice you make will unlock the trophy.

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

After the group breaks into the warehouse, David shows up. When it is revealed that the warehouse is storing goods from other communities, it is determined that Max and the others were stealing without David’s knowledge. Hearing the thugs enter the warehouse, there is a confrontation. Javi follows Badger up to an office where they fight it out. When the fight is over, everyone regroups in the warehouse to decide what to do with Max. Once you make that choice, the chapter ends.
