The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

Shortly after Javier finds David on the roof of the building, standing on the ledge.

Major Choice:

• Stepped up to help David.
  
  - As a result, David thanks Javier for standing beside him.
   
• Disappointed David when they didn't stand with him.
  
  - As a result, David is disappointed that Javier didn't join him.

David tries to make him understand how he views the world. While sharing his ideology, Javier can either scold him for his actions or admit that he's only trying to do his best for the people that he loves. David (and Javier if you chose to stand with him) get off the ledge.

Kate then runs in, others following shortly afterwards. Along with them is Tripp/Ava (depends on your choice in "Thicker Than Water"). Javier makes peace with the person that you didn't choose to be spared. If you saved Tripp and killed Conrad in the tunnels, Tripp would mention that he would do the same thing if someone threatened his family.

Everyone decides to leave the building to retrieve a vehicle nearby. David suggests using the highway overpass to get to the water tower. Javier then suggests jumping across to the nearby building's fire escape emergency staircase. You will need to press the button to jump across safely. With the help of David, Javier and him will kill several walkers. You will need to press the button to hit a walker with Javier's bat. Along the way, they will encounter a roadblock of several vehicles piled on top of each other. You will need to scale around them by using the . They will also find a crashed helicopter and need to use its blades to get across a hole in the bridge.

To progress the story, you will need to press the button to grab the chopper blade. When it's Javier's turn to use the helicopter's blades, you will need to use to swing across the gap. One half of the helicopter's blades breaks, and Javier is dangling from the broken blade. You will need to use the to climb up the blade. When Javier climbs up the blade, he will encounter a walker that's hanging from a rope. You will need to use to push the walker into a rebar. You will then need to press the button to grab onto a pipe. Unfortunately, Ava will die on the way to the helicopter, or Tripp will after Javier uses it's blade, which breaks afterwards.

After that, Javier, Clementine, David, Kate, and Gabe find the vehicles in a crowd of walkers. Gabe suggests that they turn on the generator for a distraction, while Clementine also suggests that someone covers themselves in walker guts to avoid detection. Javier climbs down the ladder and gets the attention of a walker. You will need to move your cursor over the walker and press to stab it with a knife. You will then need to move your cursor over the walker's stomach and press and use to cut it open with the knife. You will also need to press the button to cover yourself in the walker's guts. He then covers himself in walker guts to turn on a generator for a distraction. You will need to reach the generator without alerting the walkers.

When Javier reaches the generator without having alerted the walkers, you will need to press the button to start the generator. As they regroup in a garage, an argument ensues. David wants to take everyone and return to their old home. However, Kate wants to go back and help the people in Richmond. Gabe sides with David, and everyone else sides with Kate.

Kate gets angry with David and ends their relationship after she tells him that they're not his soldiers. Depending on your relationship with Kate, she can either proceed to invite you to come with her and kiss you, or say that she can't believe that she loved either one of you.

Major Choice:

• Confessed their love for Kate.
  
  - As a result, Javier defends his relationship with Kate to David.
   
• Came clean about their relationship with Kate.
  
  - As a result, Javier confesses to David about his relationship with Kate.
   
• Denied having a relationship with Kate, but David didn't believe them.
  
  - As a result, Javier denies having ever acted inappropriately with Kate to David.
   
• Said nothing.
  
  - As a result, Javier says nothing when confronted by David about being romantically involved with Kate.

Either response enrages David to the point of him attacking Javier, regardless if you denied the relationship or not.

Major Choice:

• Showed their love for David even as he took his anger out on them.
  
  - As a result, Javier admits that he loves David no matter what, which enrages David even more.
   
• Fought back David.
  
  - As a result, David overpowers Javier using a wrench.

After fighting him or admitting your love for him three times, he begins choking Javier, threatening to kill him. Clementine either shoots David in the shoulder or holds him at gunpoint to defuse the situation, depending on if you shot Kenny or looked away/did nothing at the end of The Walking Dead: Season Two. Afterwards, walker is approaching Javier, and you will need to press the button to kick it.

They retreat to the garage as more and more walkers are attracted to the noise during the fight. David, however, takes Gabriel and drives off. He also closes the garage door. You will need to open it by using . Javier is forced to make a decision — go after Gabriel and David or stay with Kate to try and save Richmond.

Major Choice:

• Went with Kate and sealed the Richmond breach.
  
  - As a result, Javier helps Kate save Richmond on the bulldozer.
   
• Went chasing after David and Gabe.
  
  - As a result, Javier goes after David and Gabe to save them, on a motorcyle.

Clementine, depending on your choices during her flashbacks throughout the season, will make a decision.

Major Choice:

• After the fight with David, Clementine followed her own plan, splitting up.
  
  - As a result, Clementine goes after Gabe, with Kate, or wherever Javier doesn't go.
   
• After the fight with David, Clementine teamed up.
  
  - As a result, Clementine follows Javier's lead.

This trophy will be earned afterwards.
