How to unlock the Resealed and Restored achievement in The Wild at Heart - Definitive Guide
Once you enter the chamber to fight the Never you can not come back up. You will be able to switch out spritlings BEFORE the battle starts but there is no crafting table so be sure to have what you want before entering. I would suggest a good supply of night lights and food. I was somewhat ill prepared myself and only had about 3 nightlights and no food and I was able to get through it after a few attempts.
The Never will talk to you and it is positioned in a crystal in the middle of the room. There are four areas that you will need to rotate around to. To the right there is a raised platform and then the area behind and in front of the platform. To the left in the back there is a ramp up to a cliff and then the area in front of the cliff. Enemies will spawn in each of these areas. You will need to clear out all the enemies and then you are free to throw spritelings at the Never. There are 3 waves. Be comfortable choosing which spritelings you are throwing ( + ) but do not be afraid of lobbing a whole buttload out no matter what. Remember that some enemies can only be fought by certain spritelings. For example, the blue blobs can only be defeated by the ice spritelings. The toxic toads are best beaten by the wood spritelings. The fire toads by the fire spritelings. The bubble dudes can be beaten fastest with the barb spritelings.
There will also be several fake big pockets floating around. Lob everything you can at it. The little Nevers that you saw out in the woods will be trying to attack you as well. If you have to stay in one area for any length of time, set down a night light. It's best to assign it to a D-pad so you can do it quickly.
Tips:
*ALWAYS keep moving. Stand still long enough to lob spritelings and then move again.
*When you hear the whistle, MOVE. That rock that smashes into you will cause damage.
*Have night lights and mushrooms on a D-pad button so that you can quickly use them
*WATCH your health! There are lots of mushrooms scattered around in the beginning and they will be enough to sustain you if you don't have any food crafted and with you.
*Don't worry about your spritelings. They will regenerate and join back up with you. Just keep lobbing them like they are expendable because they are.
*I deployed all but about 10-15 of the spritelings at the crystal Never and then would move and stand off to one side because a rock will come down in the center front after every wave. I also would make sure the barb spritelings were the first I would deploy at the crystal Never as they do the most damage.
Finally, after the credits roll, you will be able to reenter the woods to find any collectables you may have missed before the battle. The only exception may be the book page that is found in the passage to the end battle so be sure to pick it up!
I will add video as soon as it is uploaded. Good luck!
