The ach seems a tad touchy I had to do hard reset to get it to work but easiest way I found to do this is find a lone wolf or even better wild dog. Then throw northern wind bomb at them then pull out crossbow and headshot them usually takes two bombs and two crossbow bolts.

You can get it against cows too. One bomb & one shot. wink

Geralt wil say "hasta lavista" when its done correctly, cow stil works like a charm.
