How to unlock the Humpty Dumpty achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition - Definitive Guide
I finally found a good place to farm these kills: Kaer Almhult in western Skellige. Plenty of enemies and several high cliffs, bridges, etc. You'll need to go there for the steel sword upgrade diagram in Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams Part 2. Just be careful that the enemies don't turn the tables and knock you off anything (I guess they need the achievement too ).
EDIT: It should probably be mentioned, most of the cumulative achievements in this game have the potential to not unlock. Doing a hard reset of your Xbox and then getting one more of the necessary kill will usually remedy the issue.

Perfect, thank you for the suggestion. I used the bridge in the compound that was about 50ft in the air, and with so many enemies around, it was done in a few mins. Most enemies are under level 15, as well, which makes it a cinch for higher level players.

All the old guides said to grind these kills in Devil's Pit in Velen. The Next-Gen Update added a quest in that area however, now there's no longer respawning enemies. There's another great spot in Skellige however, honestly it's even better! It's the left cliff to the north of Trottheim.
Two enemies respawn right next to a ledge and you only have to walk like 20 feet away before they respawn, no loading screens needed.
It's been in the game for a long time, but I can confirm it still works.
Here's an old video showing it:

If like me, you already cleared Devils Pit and did the Netflix DLC, you won’t be able to complete this at that location.
I found this great video on YouTube about a cliff edge where two dudes seem to constantly respawn. I did have to mediate when I got there for them to first appear but after that all I did was walk away and they would come back.

If you watch the video is shows you how to get there. The video also suggests you could get a few other achievos here such as Master Marksmen but I haven’t tried that.
Happy Aard-ing

If you already cleared the game, a good bandit spawn location is just south-east from the herbalist’ hut (fast travel signpost available).
(The Herbalist hut is just north-east from Oxenfurt)
So this is 50 metres walk from there (SE), where you can find a sand mine sort of formation. Three level-7 bandits always re-spawn here in the bottom of the pit. One of them is a heavy, therefore resistant to Aard, but the other two are easy wins.
You’ll need to lure them to the top of the mine and then push over the edge, down to the ‘mine’.
It’s not a huge fall but in most of the cases high enough to kill them instantly.

Good luck!
