How to unlock the Moo-rderer achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition - Definitive Guide
As an addition to the video posted by lucamaral12, if you're trying for this since the update that summons the Bovine Defense Force if you kill & meditate, so here's what I did:
Travel to Yantra (N/E of Novigrad), it's between the 2 small lakes
Once there, travel S/E to a field that has about 6 or 7 cows in it
Kill them all with either sword or crossbow
Return to the fast travel point and travel somewhere in White Orchard
Return to Yantra and repeat
It should take you about 3 visits (2x out to White Orchard) as similar to
If you (stupidly) try it the meditation method, you'll end up fighting the BDF, and it'll rip you a new one!!! Using the travel method you don't run into any issues with this, although it takes a little longer as you have to wait for it to load White Orchard, and then load Velen to return
Yantra is the largest amount of cows I've seen in one location, although you might find more, but they're really close to the fast travel, so it makes it a quick round-trip

There is also a field just north along the road of Winespring Grange which has 10-15 cows in it. You could get this achievement in one go between these 2 and never have to fast travel. This is what I did, using the crossbow to earn it without issue.

Travel to Martin Feuille's Farmstead east of Novigrad. You can find it on the south side of the road halfway between Winespring Grange and Brunwich.
You'll find 10+ cows on a pasture (look for a square shape structure on the map), kill them all then rest an hour. Kill cows again until the achievement pops.
For me, the Bowine Defense Force did not spawn. In case it does, fast travel from Winespring Grange to Brunwich (or vice versa) instead of resting.
This is also a good location to craft a Northern Wind bomb. Toss it at a cow, switch to crossbow and kill the cow for
