How to unlock the Woodland Spirit achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition - Definitive Guide

The quest for this particular achievement is called 'Heart of the Woods' and is located in Fayrlund, Skellige. The recommended level is 22.

During this quest, you'll get two options to either follow Sven and kill the Woodland Spirit or follow Harald and please the Spirit. You'll need to pick Sven if you want the achievement. Once you do this, just go through the objectives, fight the Spirit and you'll receive the achievement upon completion.

Man is that some BS. I finished the quest by pleasing the spirit and didn't get the cheevo and was pretty irritated that it glitched. Thankfully I checked here first, so Thank You for this guide so I didn't need to break another controller.

Oh NO! I pleased The old man and The sprit! Save slot long gone I guess. Is there a way to find The sprit and koll it anyway? Will letting the spirit live effect The achievement where you have to complete all witcher contracts?

This one glitched on me, as well as one story and one other contract, and the All contracts unlocked, even though I saved the Spirit. Won't be leaving my game idle while I stream from now on. :S

I had a glitch on this one too, but I finally managed to get the achievement :
- following Sven requests,
- killing Hilde (and not sending her away)
- killing the Woodland Spirit.
I also removed the perk that ables to kill enemy in one blow ("Deadly Precision"), as during my previous tries I instant killed the Woodland Spirit in the middle of the battle each times.

If it glitched on you, just start a New Game on the Blood and Wine DLC. You can start the quest and complete it within 15 minutes.

The ritual with the wolf hearts is the point of no return. Until that point you still have the option to kill the spirit. I had sent the girl away and the achievement unlocked.

HIGHLY missable achievement - you can only unlock this by killing the spirit. If you let it live, you won't get the achievement. Luckily, if you've already completed it the way that doesn't unlock the achievement, II RedDwarf II found a great workaround.

Start a new game on Heart of Stone DLC to start on level 33. You'll be dropped into Velen, immediately able to fast travel to Fayrlund, Skellige (the unmarked town just below Rannvaig), go to the Quest board, and start the mission from scratch. Quick and easy from there, just make sure to kill the Spirit this time. Done!
