How to unlock the Triple Threat achievement in THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT - Definitive Guide
Run down the hill normally about 5 of them, kill one with sword, a bunch will swarm use igni on ones that will bunch together and should be one left and use the crossbow, took about three shots to kill it.
If you kill them all by accident fast travel back to white orchard and then back and they should have respawned
So I used Igni to damage all of them, finish at least one of them with the said sign and finish the rest with other attacks like your sword or your crossbow.
This is especially handy when your struggling with finishing the dogs with your crossbow as mine did almost no damage at all at that time. Finishing the last bits of HP with it suffices!

This can easily be done at the "Hanged Man's Tree" fast travel point in Velen (middle of the map). By the time you enter Velen, you will automatically have a crossbow in your inventory. Equip the crossbow and Igni sign. Now kill some wolves near the fast travel point with the Igni sign, then use your sword until only one is left, followed by killing the last one with your crossbow (press to shoot).
The trophy will unlock after the fight is over and all enemies are dead.
One of the easiest areas in which you’ll be able to grab this will be at the Hanged Man’s Tree fast travel point in Velen. Near this fast travel point, there's a pack of five to six Level 1 wolves in the fields nearby. Equip the crossbow and your Ingi Sign in the inventory menu. Head on over to the pack of wolves and cast Igni right away to kill at least one or two of the animals. After that, use your crossbow to kill at least one more and then finally use your sword to kill the rest. There are plenty of other areas to get this done, but this one of the earliest encounters in which you can snag it.
Easily obtained at the Hanged Man'sTree . When you arrive in Velen, you will automatically have a crossbow in your inventory. Select the crossbow and the Igni sign. Now find the wolves nearby, kill one with the Igni sign, hit the rest of the wolves with your sword until there is only one left. Finish off the last one with a crossbow on R1.
