Play three hero cards in one round of gwent and win the match.

How to unlock the All In achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Definitive Guide

Since there's no solution for this, I figured I'd make a simple one.

For doing the Gwent side quests, you'll get Hero cards for winning against the other players. The thing is, some Hero cards are faction specific, so it'll take a few wins of different players until you rack up 3 for the same deck.

This is what a Hero card looks like:

After you get 3, play a game of Gwent. What I did was to try and win the first round without using any hero cards, then when the other player has no cards in the second round, lay the 3 hero cards and win.

It's a very easy achievement if you have a decent deck.

You will eventually. Just do the Gwent side quests. Doing the Velen and Big City Players side quests should give you at least 3 for one deck.

If anyone still wonders, you CAN have three hero cards AND other regular cards on the table and still unlock the achievement.

I just played 3 Northern Realms Heroes and 3 siege cards, won the match and achievement unlocked, 6 cards in total on the table.

I’ve Offically opted myself out for all Gwent achievements in this game, prefer riding and killing enemies and playing a video game. If I wanted to play a card video game, I’d buy Poker for Xbox, not Witcher 3 for Gwent!!

So I just played 3 hero cards and won the round..no cheevo...my question, as it's not very specific...do you ONLY play the 3 cards, or can you play other cards as long as you also played 3 hero cards that particular round and they are on the field? If that makes sense

Edit: just got it...after a few games later, I had 3 hero cards again and also won the whole match and it unlocked that time..not sure if that's what the factor was, but oh well 😁

Hero cards are earned by winning unique cards from beating specific players in Gwent. Once you have at least 3 in your deck, you can go after this trophy.

I played Vernon Roche, Ciri, and Yennefer in one round of a match and won the match. I'd recommend doing it after a round you've already won. One thing to remember is you need to have the cards come up when the match starts, so you're going to want to have more than 3 Hero cards in your deck. I had 7 and luckily 3 came up when the match began.

The trophy popped right after the match ended. Pretty easy.

Before attempting this achievement, it is strongly recommended to complete the following Gwent Quests: "Velen Players," "Playing Innkeeps," & "Big City Players." After completing all three of these quests, you will in turn be rewarded with five hero cards; Yennefer of Vengerberg from the Neutral Deck, and Letho of Gulet, Menno Coehoorn, Morvan Voorhis, and Tibor Eggebracht of the Nilfgaard Deck.

Once you have all of these cards, access your "Gwent Deck" in the Pause Manu and build your Nilfgaard Deck to include all five heroes. Avoid putting special cards into your deck and only place enough non-hero cards to make your deck valid for play. Now go out and look for a Trader, Innkeeper, or Merchant to verse and be sure to forfeit the match right away if you begin with fewer than three heroes in your hand. If you do have three or more heroes in your hand, play out the match as you normally would while trying to score the overall win and playing three heroes in one round! If you're successful in pulling this off, the achievement will be yours at the post-match victory screen.

In order to earn this trophy, you will need to obtain hero cards first. You can do this by completing Gwent Quests, which will net you hero cards. Keep in mind that you can only use one faction of cards along with the neutral cards, so you must have three hero cards between the two and they must also be in your hand when you play. Put the minimum amount of cards in your deck to play and make sure to stack it with the special cards. Redraw two cards if needed when starting a game. If you do not have three hero cards in your deck, forfeit the match and try again until you do so. When you have three in your hand, you will need to play all three in one round for it to count, and then you need to win the match.

The trophy is simple, but requires preparation and luck. First you need to get at least 3 hero cards. These are rare cards whose attack number is in the “star”, for example Yenifer. They must be knocked out in games. I received 3 pieces when I defeated everyone in Velen and Novigrad (without a tournament).

Then the tactics are as follows: we take the Kingdom of the North (it was they who knocked out the trophy). We put into the deck the maximum number of cards with the spy property (the card goes to the enemy’s side, but you get 2 cards from the deck in return) and a scarecrow (1-2 is enough, it allows you to return the card to your half of the table in your hand). I took the North because I quickly got 2 spies just for them

We begin to play against the same kingdom of the north (for example, in Velen, Zalipie Village, the merchant is slightly to the right of the road sign. The village itself is south of the bridge to Novigrad and east of the bloody baron’s castle, almost in the center of the Velen map). You can place a bet of 1 coin. The enemy needs North so that he can also use spies against us, this merchant has 3 of them.

In our starting hand we need to get 1-3 heroes (3 heroes are ideal, but practically unrealistic), spies and a scarecrow. We immediately put spies and try to get 3 heroes into our hand, while simultaneously winning the round. Since we are playing against the north, the enemy can also place a spy, and this is where the scarecrow comes in handy. With the help of a scarecrow, we take the spy into our hand, lay it out and get more cards from the deck, among which there may be a hero. That's actually all the tactics. The main thing is to play all 3 heroes in one round and win the WHOLE match. There may be other cards of yours on the table.

Most likely it won’t work the first or even the second time. If the starting hand is bad, then we give up and start the match again. It took me 4 attempts, 2 spies, 3 heroes, 1 scarecrow and only 22 cards in the deck to get the trophy.

When you complete the achievement to collect all the cards, collect the most hero cards and play many games, it will appear on its own.

The devil is not as scary as he is painted....
Just play, play, play, and when you have a decent deck, then when dealt you may immediately get 4-5 hero cards, I think there are no problems with the trophy, as long as you collect the entire deck and play with every cross you come across, this option will definitely slip through more than once

I can recommend getting rid of all weather maps. So that when using the same spies, all sorts of Haze and Rain, for example, do not fall into your hand.

I received this trophy quite successfully. Nilfgard vs Scoyatael deck. Well, it depends on what deck you have big heroes in.

In the second half of the game, you will have a bunch of hero cards (these are the ones with gold borders and are immune to nerfs and buffs). And you will have the opportunity to play not just 3, but 5-6 hero cards in one round.
